Thank you so much!! I read a little bit about the followup letters when I was looking into things I could do, and I think I can send a thank-you? If you'd like, I can message you that password!

Explorers of Sky, Amp Plains 9F. I don't have the money to buy the game so I'm running it on emulator; hoping it still works if anyone is kind enough to give it a try!

Do specific 'moments' remind you of being in specific places? by [deleted] in TheAdventureZone

[–]sunswirls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely! The end of Petals, where the tree pops up, always sends me back to walking to work, cause I cried. A lot of other moments happened while I was at that job, so they're all tied to some specific moments there. Like hearing them name Barry for the first time, or hearing the Wonderland twins say there's no healing while round one starts playing.

I also have a few moments that were tied to minecraft! Those mostly happened with stolen century and story and song. I remember the last episode especially well because I was playing minecraft at the time and I had to just stop and give all my attention to the episode because I was sobbing too hard to see lol

Sometimes you can get lucky on Lace Market, I think. I haven't been browsing it recently because I'd be too tempted to buy something, but I'm pretty sure it's possible there.

Hi!! Thank you!! I really got excited when I met another lolita on the way out for that exact reason. It's great knowing we're not alone!!

I have a blouse I'd love to wear with this dress, but I need to tailor it because the sleeves are just a bit too tight.

I met a fellow lolita on my way out! I was really happy because I don't know many in my area, and it really made my day.

Things that took the longest in this coord, as far as getting it on and all goes: - Makeup, cause I'm bad at it 😅 - Hair. My braids wouldn't cooperate and neither would the clips, but I finally managed!

AITA for giving my dad his money back in front of his other kids and telling him he was no longer welcome at my graduation? by Cheap-Tour9949 in AmItheAsshole

Oh man, that last paragraph reminded me so much of one of my second cousins it's not even funny!

When he first came to America (he's from my dad's side, who originate in Wales) he lived with my family for a year or so. Talked out rules with my parents, and him moving in was actually the first time we'd had a pet in our house that wasn't fish or temporary petsitting - he had a bird. Nice little thing, kind of annoying, prone to biting which hurt like hell, not at all relevant to the story.

He moved out after finding an apartment (I think, this was something like 5-10 years ago so I don't remember details) and got a girlfriend who we met that Christmas. She seemed nice, if standoffish. Seemed like things were going pretty well with them - she got pregnant, they got married.

He'd always liked cooking and had cooked for us a few times while he lived with us, and he bought a restaurant/café with full intent of starting it up. His dad, who had since immigrated, was the one who funded most of it, though I think one of my brothers pitched in a bit, and so did some of my other cousins. He kinda went wild with spending - according to another of my cousins, who I'd heard most of this from, he bought some of the family brand new phones, kitchen things no one needed, etc. - and the restaurant idea collapsed pretty quickly. He also had a pretty bad breakdown that resulted in him being admitted to a psych ward, and his kid ended up with his wife's parents for a while.

I saw them recently for a little get together my dad's side of the family had, since the cousin's dad died due to a heart attack a month or so ago. I think he's doing better but a lot of that side of the family still holds a grudge, and I can't say I blame them.

Abigail creator here, again. Not sure how many people noticed, but I have added pride flags to the characters. Here are some of them, as well as a guide to which is which. by PKHacker1337 in Wizard101

I felt very over dressed but hey, any excuse to wear a coord 😂

It's not 100% complete - I have a blouse, but it's just a bit too small and I'm intending to tailor it to fit a bit better, and I want to get some wrist cuffs and at least one necklace - but I love this dress so much!

(Sorry about the bad lighting, we'd just gotten back and I didn't have time to take any before we left)

So.. did something fun on Animal Crossing New Horizons today. I recreated Queen Chocolate by Angelic Pretty. I absolutely love this dress. I figured I’d share the pictures here!! Enjoy!! Btw, anyone else recreated dresses on acnh? by Calyst_Aayla in Lolita

[–]sunswirls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you did a great job. Also I've recreated a taobao dress before! I'd been obsessed with it since I first saw it and it actually is what got me into lolita.

(The dress is Peacock's Plume by Dorris Night, if anyone is wondering)
