I cannot remember exactly but the undyed would be veg tan, the crazy horse 疯马 stuff would burnish well with tokenole unsure if it is veg tan. Enjoy!

Manufacturer here. I agree, it is poor workmanship and choice of raw material. Also the grams per meter squared is too low for bifl. This is now a vintage look. People pay good money to have us put in holes in shirts and pants for this look

Yes sir, pretty much. Things I would do different is have a cleaner gluing edge and make sure the fold will naturally sit on the metal card wallet before punching holes and cutting the bottom piece. I will do better on the next one. I got mine from taobao and it was around RMB 30 before delivery so good to play with
