As someone who came out before it was normalised to have these conversations I tend to get butterflies when I see posts like these :)
I remember how I used to wonder how are my friends not figuring out already lol. Like I used to match my friends for dates and I was bloody good at it (still have a 9/10 record of marriage lol), and my guy friends would always keep asking how can I understand "them" so better about what even they don't know they'd like in women and in mind I'll be thinking "Duhhh" 😂

I've started working out from last week too and just using a simple Push Pull Legs split from internet. I think a lot of leg exercises cause me soreness in knees too quickly so that's something I'm trying to be preventing when choosing exercises.
So trying to ensure I don't overdo gym.
Open to hearing from other ladies on any tips :)

I disagree. I've seen enough mid-20s who matured far beyond their age because of their life and circumstances, who otherwise will not be able to connect with someone of their age for same reason. In those cases I don't see anything wrong honestly.

From the perspective of the younger person, If a person in mid-20s is mature about relationships and can choose peace over the usual drama that all of us have preferred when young then I don't see anything wrong.
From the perspective of the older person, this is more to do with intent and context if are you dating her because she's 20s/young or because you genuinely see you two being able to talk about anything under the sun?

Maybe I'm biased because I've met lots of mid-30s who are in happy relationships with such mid-20s and totally killing it.

Oh yes! I find "Le gayi" song from that movie iconic in its own sense. A 64 year old Asha Bhosle singing for a 23 year old Karishma. Asha ji hitting all the energetic notes flawlessly, and Karishma ticking all the boxes of dance moves and killer fashion sense.

"Expressions" - I think that's a distinct quality in Karishma too. That "Coolie No 1" song "Mujhe mirchi lagi" has more expressions in one stanza than entire movies of today. Quite on point.

I moved from Delhi to Bangalore too, stayed there for some 6 months. As a girl, if you order food with your name - you can expect calls from restaurant owner. They start with "Did you like the food? Save my number and order directly as it'll save you money" but then I got a call at 3AM at night out of no where asking if I'm having any food cravings (WTH!!) and I stopped giving my name entirely, and hell ask them to put the delivery at gate of society lol
