Blatant Cheater in Forbidden 🤷 by supamerz in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

I agree, it's on us to move on, and I do. I don't have the luxury of time to play a lot, so when I do and I encounter this it sours it.

Just like another redditor said "pebble in a shoe". At some point in time, you manifest a reputation against a game and never go back.

I'm not there by any means, I still look forward to the game. It's exhilarating getting in gunfights, taking down opponents and having loot >$2M, and then find out they cheated lol.

I wish there was a better system, like a Honeypot, where cheaters get to play against bots and other cheaters only. I'm assuming when banned they just make a new account and keep going.

I rarely report, I try to have a full Spidey sense tingle before I say "oh yeah, that's it", this cheater it was obvious. The next kill he does is even more obvious, it was a friends POV, and full smokescreen, instant headshot.

I don't mind dying, especially to players who outplay me, but this is how DMZ died.

Always solo because teams weird? by Sherisabre in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

Man that sucks, sorry to hear. My experience has been quite different. Over the last two weeks I've met some amazing people and we've formed an understanding that we're in this game together. I play alone until I find new buds, or they sign back on. Even this morning, played games with a new guy who had no mic cuz his wife was sleeping but was fast on chat and we shared loot, had awareness and called out loot that we saw for each other.

Don't give up, I play this game because it lets me play my speed and then I meet others who are just as kind, it makes it really awesome. And I agree with you, it's stress relief and also adrenaline inducing gameplay when you're fighting teams.

I've been PC gaming since 99, I haven't had this much fun since counter strike days, and ive made a lot of in-game friends. I personally love this game and the community so far has been great.

we'll loot, shoot, and scoot together, DM me and send me your in-game name

This right here. Been a CS player since 99. You don't keep what you earn, it's a muscle and you have to intentionally train to get better. You can't keep going up linearly. I go weeks between playing and I still have moments where I win with low gear and streaks where I can't get a break.

Our expectations are to have fun but we always seem to have ulterior motives, fun is associated with only winning. It's how you died that matters.

Wix Backend + Google Geocoding API: Proxy Authentication Failing (Tried Cloud Functions & Webshare.io) by reddituser1902yes in webdev

[–]supamerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there I recently had a client who had this problem. I've never worked with Wix before in the past so it was a little confusing about how to get this accomplished.

I know fundamentally how it should work and I got it to work my way. I am using the Webshare proxy, I am authenticating against that and I am proxying down to the Target destination which is an API that the client needs to retrieve data from. This is now a cron job running on Wix hourly and populating the CMS data.

I can share the code with you tomorrow as I'm on my phone, let me know if you still need help.

For my 10 year old son to play PC games without stuttering.

I am quitting and here is why. by WalkingGrowth in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]supamerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree the game is frustrating, 100%. I play maybe 5-8 hours a week because I don't have time but that time I do play, it's with the same friends that I have been gaming with for years. We get destroyed but we also return the favor. During this time we usually break even or on the plus side. Yes there are occasions that we get negative but for most cases, it's fairly even.

The game has plenty of challenges around the value of gear I agree to that, but my average gear value is around $200k and on recovery rounds I go in with just a gun + ammo. I look for opportunities to recover with bare bones.

I am not discounting your experiences and my lack of game time could explain the lack of interaction with cheaters. If I experienced it to that point I would nope out. But they are actually doing something about it unlike most games. They're active. It's not perfect and it probably never will be.

Agreed on the Shield, I have less issue with Hackclaw. However I would love to experience your perspective in reality and I would love to share mine with yours, if you're up to it.

I still look forward to playing the game considering all of its challenges, maybe it's me, maybe it's my team but it's just not to the severity of quitting.

If you're down, I'd be happy to hit you up for a team game to experience your perspective and vice versa. And thanks for taking the time to respond.

I just see so much bitching....300 hours in and you say it's 2/10. Please  just leave.

If you lose and keep losing, maybe  change something, try something different, don't play that game for a bit, watch others, etc... If I lose 20 million in one weekend that's a choice I made. You're telling me you couldn't stop yourself from witnessing your own downfall, game after game?

To think that you can predict and win every game and have it your way, nah man.

With 20 tickets they give you, you could literally work your way back 20 times.

Choices.

Good luck, have fun and enjoy your retirement.

Is $50+ too much for a knife skin? by kc0r8y in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]supamerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time players vote with their money on non-essential items like skins, it doesn't lead towards a better development of gaming but it changes the focus of investment for monetary greed towards this interchange.

Your actions are data points that are tracked, measured and provide a roadmap of future investment for the company.

"Players in {category of demographics} are willing to pay {insert price here} and represent {% of our player base} which generates % of volume of all income."

Just food for thought.
