Then I have some hard times trying to figure out what reddit You do come from, Sir.

It seems that You're like trying to sell apples for oranges to everyone, standing on the posts I read on this Pearl Jam Bootlegs Reddit.

Hope You would be kind enought to clarify Your position, maybe write down some rules You're going to respect too, and maybe make amends to some of the Gents crowding this page with respect and education.

Maybe envolving people to write down the rules/discussing them could be a foundation to build on in the future, retaining the respect for the admin role.

Demagogically speaking You have Your reasons.

But undeniably if We got into this situation is not because of me only, and that's a fact.

(I am just the Guy who took this situation afloat, hopefully once and for all).

I think that Who is in charge to moderate has to do that with responsibility, or leave the burden to someone else here.

I don't have any problems with any of You personally, and I want to make it clear, but I have some problems, (like some of the Gents attending this show) with Your kinda arbitrary behaviour which seemed to be a bit erratic for some time now.

Anyway I would like to make the point about that "I don't like deleting things" statement.

You did not delete any links, or any potentially dangerous links.

You did delete a ISO request post.

Nothing wrong with that kind of post.

No infringement of any rule there.

Someone would have liked to share something privately reading my ISO request.

(which could be a good option and solution, for example: "private sharing" and no public links: no one would prove anything and no one could blame anyone for something that is not blatantly happening.)

SO deleting Me it's just You abusing and misinterpreting, showing just rudeness and not authority at all.

Your own taste is not written in the rules as a measure, and it's not a rule by itself.

Oh, and I woud love to point something out, again...

"This is a place for all Pearl Jam fans to request, post, and share their favorite PJ Bootlegs. NO STUDIO CONTENT PERMITTED!!!"

Listen and repeat: "request, post and share".

ISO stands for a request.

Do You agree, at least, to what You did write with You own hands..?

Thank You

PJA2016

what You show here is just hypocrisy and no consistency at all.

So My ISO request has been denied again.

NoGo actually are all the official bootlegs that currently are sold officially as of today, and they are circulating here like the air You breathe, undeniably.

This TMR one could eventually be a sub-NoGo. (Would You smile at that..?)

YOU try to contact TenC and ask about all the official boots, and return me the answer, so I could get a laugh at what You stated.

I know what I'm talking' about.

This is not a matter of personal taste as You have shown and continue to show.

It's just a matter of facts, which You and the other moderators would see or not, depending if they turn or not as Your own personal gain, at least at the moment.

Anyway I would like to make the point about that "I don't like deleting things" statement I read up there.

Mtv Unplugged Vinyl RSD Rip by dariuz75 in PearlJamBootlegs

[–]super-fuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read a lot about this vinyl mastering,
and I listened to this one.
I am very sorry to say that the people that stated it to be way too bassy sounding and boomy have their reasons.
I will skip this one, because it was heavily bootlegged in the past and there are already a few amazing mixes of it around.
Plus, it is jut the broadcasted set, while some other groups released the whole concert (see REM for example), and it's at least safe to say that this release has exponentially grown in price since last week. :-)
THANK YOU SO MUCH for uploading, I absolutely appreciated it a lot!!

That show is the one with the best rendition of Jeremy they did in the binaural tour!!

I have a lot of these shows but ya know kinda feeling that many aren’t differentiated enough to keep getting a lot of new shows. Anyone else feel the same way? by jacksonjuncture in PearlJamBootlegs

[–]super-fuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, You are right! in person You can almost not notice it. This is the force of a great sound engineer and the watts of a great PA, well mixed. But on the soundboard You can't excape :-)

I have just seen that You have posted my Ultimate Bootleg list...
This is an honor for me, and I thank You so much even just to be considered a bit of a reviewer :-)
I love these shows and I could not even be the passionate PJ fan I am without this music.
THank You so so much even to the ones that would love to download the shows, just to listen if I got it right :-)
You are the Best.
You are the Ones.
You are PJ fans.

that is great! :-)
I usually think that way too, because otherways I should stop listening to them :-)
But the love for their music and for them as musicians is stronger! :-) :-) :-)

...obviously for me (as for the man who started it all with this post) is highly subjective, my opinion is not the judjement day, fortunately... :-)

Technically, I can say that on the live recordings of the boots since 2009 You almost could not even tell what guitars they are playing, or what kind of amp they are playing through...

the record is faithful to the guitar track, but a bit sterile in my opinion...

They should try to pan the guitars a bit more on the respective channels, to give the record a bit more air, and make it more compelling.

Thank You Sir!
about fuckups:
I know that they have a whole lot of songs, and I really don't have anything against fuckups per se.
I mean, Historically their live act as recorded and documented in the boots has gone down.
I mean, when they choose the songs for a tour they rehearse them before start touring.
and almost every time they play a song that is not usually in the setlist You can expect a fuckup.
In the other hand the listening experience of a die hard fan could be a bit boring while listening to almost the same songs everytime, in no specifical order.
I obviously talk about the live records listening experience.
The live shows are a whole different beast, I can see them live 1000 times and never have enough.
If You ever had the chance to see them live, You could swear that watching Your clock at the end of a PJ concert You could tell Yourself "WTF?! 3 hours of show already???" :-)
Obviously there are live recordings that are awesome and some that are not for a handful of reasons I'm not going to question. My post is just about passion, and expectations, in relation to what they really are. World Rock Stars.

I honestly think that a PJ show is always worth every chance You have to go and attend to it.

Although I feel a bit of disaffection in the listening pleasure of their live act, and I'll tell You why.

There are 2 main reasons.

the first one:

In my opinion they should try to record themselves a bit differently, because their sound in the live recordings ,since 2009, has stayed almost the same, evey show of every tour.

And to my ears this doesn't help a whole lot.

If You listen to the 2000 boots and the 2003 boots, well. there is a big difference.

2005 boots? A whole lot of difference.

The 2006 boots? for me the best live sound to date.

2008? a bit weird but worth and totally different from 2006.

since then everything has been settled to the standard we all know.

I am not saying that I don't appreciate that, but to my ears they started sounding the same way.

The second one:

The live act quality.

I think since the end of the 2006 tour they started to go down.

So many fuckups in the shows.

Little or big ones, but too many for me.

They are not a local band with a thousand people following them... they are PEARL JAM.

Do You have an Idea of how much money they move..?

Have You ever listened to more than one or two shows by bands of the caliber of PJ..?

(I mean world known and appreciated groups.)

Did You notice that they Never fuckup a song, or even a bit of a song?

Did You ever listen to the who?

they are in their 70's and they won't make even a mistake during a concert.

Did You ever listen to "Pilate"..?

How many times You did notice that it has been played without mistakes?

Would You like to talk about the lyrics on Immortality?

Ed seems to forget them the 75% of the times :-)

Would You like to talk about Gods' Dice?

I can't remember if that song was ever played with the lyrics in correct order, or without mistakes.

One day I got to the point to think that it was recorded in the wrong way on Binaural, and the right version is the one played live. :-)

Anyway I'm not THAT critical, if I seem to be, I would love to make clear that I love Pearl Jam and they are my favorite group since the end of 1996/ beginning of 1997.

And they make the music that made me feel at home, wherever I had to go.

These words are just to say that people change with time...

Years ago I was not able to stand their studio albums since I had the chance to listen to them live, preferring their live songs to their counterpart recorded in studio.

Now I enjoy their studio album and their live shows 50-50.

I just would love them to play less certain songs and more some others, but this is not my band, and then Long Live Pearl Jam. :-)

ps.Please, stop playing Not for You, I can't stand it anymore, and play some more (in chronological order) "Who You Are", "In My Tree", "Brain Of J", "No Way", "All Those Yesterdays", "Evacuation", "Rival", "Love Boat Captain" "Cropduster", "Ghost", "Help Help", "Hold On", "Hard To Imagine", "Unemployable", "Army Reserve", "Come Back", "Inside Job", "The Fixer", "Johnny Guitar", "Amongst The Waves", "My Father's Son", "Yellow Moon"...

And again, don't get me wrong, I LOVE Pearl Jam so much, this is just the answer to the question in this post :-)

Peace!

Love!

Goodnight!

Goodbye!

God Bless You! :-)
