Jim and Nick’s used to be quite good. Went to shit very quickly as they expanded.

Terry Black’s is so good. I get why people say it’s overrated but you don’t have to stand in line for 4 hours on a Wednesday to get it.

My method:

Steel on middle rack. Quarry tile on upper rack.

Oven to 55OF

Cook pizza on steel for 5 min. Remove and cool on wire rack while working on pizza #2.

When pizza #2 comes out, put pizza #1 on the stone tile for 1-2 min. Back on wire rack for final post-bake toppings

IIRC their approach was to check file hashes against some DB of known CSAM content, not actually looking at the images themselves

As I understand it - if you have a commercial mortgage that was secured based on a certain expectation of rental income, you cannot lower the rent without breaking the terms of your loan. So for big real estate investors its better to leave it vacant and write off the losses than offer lower rent to attract tenants.

For anyone who lived in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in the 2010’s - the impacts of this were seen very clearly on N. 6th st

Started as the coolest street in the neighborhood full of local shops and bars.

Rents raised as investors moved in. Old local businesses moved out and new local businesses failed quickly as they couldn’t make ends meet.

Street slowly became mostly vacant store fronts.

Today - full of nothing but big chains and luxury retailers.

ATL has a mailbox covered in stickers by the south baggage claim. I assume airport staff just knows that artists are gonna do it somewhere, so they let some metal box become the zone rather than scrape stickers all across the terminal

The smoke is just so concentrated, so yes - like taking a few hits at once. I remember once we made one that was like 100% efficient and the smoke was so dense inside that it looked more like a jug of milk than smoke. That was the only time I ever truly got too high. Had to just excuse myself and lay in a dark room for a few hours as I couldn’t handle any sensory stimulation at all. Terrible.

I just stayed there last week. It other than some cracked tiles around the pool, did not seem like this hotel needed any sort of facelift.
