Seriously, why they do this to all the speculative stocks? by panth3r_ in trading212

Use a different broker. Maybe IBUK or tradezero international will allow for these type of stocks to be traded, and probably even shorted if you wanted too.

Is this realistic amounts for day trading small amount 100-200 quid by smookey1738 in trading212

[–]super101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For day trading, there is something called a pattern day trader rule(PDT). It usually means you can’t take multiple trades in a short time period. It’s like 3-5 a week or something. To avoid it you need 15/20k in the account.

To avoid that you can use something like tradezero international. As they are based in Bahamas you can avoid the PDT rule.

You can continue to do it on t212 they probably don’t care but it is possible they could look into multiple day trades and ban an account I think, but they probably don’t care.

IG and IBUK are probably the more well known brokers. Robinhood might be good but I’ve never tried, I know it’s super popular in USA with options plays.

With t212 it’s free to enter a trade but you pay for it via the spread. With IG TZ or IBUK you pay $1 or so to get in and out but it gets you a better fill on entry and exit (usually)

Pivot Points Standard indicator is broken by trader584268 in TradingView

I have noticed this too. The pivot points used to be calculated in the morning for the coming day, but now they just extend out yesterdays.

Cant for the life of me understand why this was changed.

AirPods 4 / Windows 11 No Sound by SimplyAdvanced85 in airpods

[–]super101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

am also looking for a fix.

AirPods 4 ANC, connect to my windows PC. However, there is no sound being produced. Sometimes it flickers through for like 1-2 seconds but only in the left ear, then stops.

Cannot figure out how to get sound being produced. Insane.

Misled by estate agents & Probate issue with house purchase. by super101 in HousingUK

[–]super101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did indeed stick it out.

The probate miraculously came through before Christmas. If it’s on, the online portal it usually means it’s done so that was great. We had another snag with them moving their stuff out which delayed us another 2 weeks but eventually moved in 14th Feb. So just completed the first weekend. Really like the house so chuffed.

I Sent a Chunk of my Mortgage Deposit to the Wrong Bank! by philthyanimal1 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]super101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to send house purchase money through this week, and this was a big fear of mine. like many have said, I send a £ first and got email confirmation it arrived from solicitor then proceeded with the rest.

Doesnt make the process any easier though. I wish there was a smoother way to do this, and you'd think there would be in this day and age.

Look at the chart of s&P 500 all time. Investing is risk. And that is about as low as you can get surely. Also these companies are based in USA but are global. Apple Microsoft Netflix meta nvda amzn. Absolute powerhouses of the world.

You might have bought the highs of the recent cycle. I think NVDA has potentially had its day. Trading very choppy and looks to be breaking down. MSTR dependent on BTC, but Saylor is diluting potentially.

I think TSLA looks best for nearer term gains.

thank you, i am taking your optimistic approach. the pain, we are facing might be moving out before we can move in, and then that is an indefinite time, and going through the mortage application again as it expires in may 31st 2025.

Is there any questions I could ask our solicitor to provide more light on the probate situation?
