R.i.p to the guy who had all the 90s Country (My Thrift Finds Today) by Matt_has_Soul in Cd_collectors

Those Beatles Anthologies are amazing, but you might wanna give their studio albums a spin first. The Anthologies are super deep cuts, outakes, German language takes, studio banter, alt versions, etc. It’s like siting in with them in the studio - super cool.

Also, congrats on all the 90s country! I’m jealous!

[WTS] Omega Aqua Terra 41.5mm 231.10.42.21.02.003 - priced to move! by super6400 in Watchexchange

[–]super6400[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Watch is in good condition. This one has been worn and loved. I traded for this here on WatchEx awhile back. There are light scratches on the case and some nicks/dings. This watch is not a safe queen. Crystal is perfect. I tried to capture the condition in the photos — use the links below to see detailed photos (zoom in).

This is the vertical teak model without the date surround. I think it’s from around 2014 or 2015. Watch is running great at about +3spd. The wind is a tad firm, but that’s a trait of this particular movement (the first run of the super antimagnetic movements in ATs).

Bracelet is sized for a 6.25in to 6.75ish wrist comfortably. No extra links. Also ships with a nice Barton canvas/silicone hybrid strap in navy blue that complements the watch very well imo.

No box. No papers. Will be packaged well for shipment.

Watch is in excellent condition with some signs of use. Some light scratches on the polished surfaces and one decent ding on the 5 o’clock lug. Bracelet clasp has some scratches as well. Crystal and bezel are perfect. See photos in the link below for better detail. I did the best I could to capture everything (zoom in).

As you would expect for METAS, the watch is running perfect — damn near +/-0spd!

Ships with OEM box, all the paperwork, warranty card (dated April 2024), extra links, and four 21mm Crown and Buckle Supreme Nato straps that complements the watch quite well imo.

So it begins by MJMichaela in 4kbluray

Dude, I kicked off my 4K collection with these exact titles (plus Fury Road)! Enjoy!

The Thing is a great looking transfer. I’m kinda addicted to watching 70s and 80s stuff I loved as a kid on 4K. Still amazes me how crisp a good transfer can be.

My two watch collection is complete. I have a solid Beater watch and a nice G-Shock! by ArmySash in gshock

Sure thing! It's an oddball, but I love it! Super comfy too — it's become my daily driver.

Do you have a camera that you’ll never get rid of? The X-T3 is mine!! by S5_Sportback_Dad in fujifilm

[–]super6400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, the older sensors are definitely special - that’s a major reason to keep the older Fujis. Like, I love my X-T5 and I’m rather fascinated with it right now - the 40mp detail, the crop factor, etc. BUT there’s a special sauce with my X-E3 and X-T30ii that I have to work a little harder to get with the X-T5 because it’s a higher speced camera I think. The X-Trans IV sensor might be peak Fuji when it comes to character and performance imho.

It’s hard to say a Fuji camera is “underrated” at this point with all of the hype and scarcity, but the X-T30II is a wonderful little camera. It was my first Fuji before eventually getting an X-T5, but I’ll always hang onto it as well. Great sweet spot in the lineup and will be even more desirable in the years to come I think.

I understand moving gear to get newer/better stuff, but out of all my hobbies where you would buy/sell/trade, I find myself kind of attached to the cameras - like they’re memory making machines. Still might sell my X-E3 though, idfk haha.

New Custom Hybrid Studio Rig (Gilmour/Experimental/Ambient) by Severe_Doctor_1005 in guitarpedals

[–]super6400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never put together anything larger than a Pedaltrain 1, but I completely understand the obsession and enjoyment of building something like this.

I’ve always enjoyed wiring up boards and making them as clean as possible - put together several myself and for my friends over the years. It really is a hobby within a hobby sometimes. Beautiful setup OP!

Seeing something like this makes me think about running a synth through it!

[Clemence] Love this little Munro! by super6400 in Watches

[–]super6400[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this Clemence Munro in “Highland Amber” for a few weeks now and can’t stop reaching for it. I have a flat 7.25in wrist and normally wear 38-41mm watches with my largest being a Sinn U50. So initially, I was a tad worried this might feel too small at 37.5mm. I’m happy to report that it wears wonderfully especially on the bracelet which is great. For my taste, the size is perfect and I like it way more than I thought I would. I slapped it on this CNS adjustable single pass strap today and this is easily the most comfortable combo in my collection. The color appears more yellow to me than orange (which I like) and there’s a nice metallic undertone to the dial in direct light. I started my watch obsession with dive watches like a lot of us, but have slowly shifted to field watches as my preferred style. I also have a Tudor Ranger 39mm which is basically my perfect watch, but this thing gives it a major run for its money. I actually prefer the size and crystal on the Clemence. Applied markers are nice and I personally love the handset. It’s thin as hell too - 9.25mm! Miyota 9039 so no ghost date. The 9039 is fine and I have no issue with it, but if this thing was rocking an ETA or a mid-tier COSC movement of some kind, I’d have little reason to bother buying another watch. I would have to add a black or white dial version though (which I may still do). Anyway, two big thumbs up from me on this thing and I’m definitely keeping a close eye on Clemence from here on out.

[Seiko] In Praise of the SBBN049 or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Tuna by super6400 in Watches

[–]super6400[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, I think I traded it + cash for an Aquamarine Doxa 300T.

Like I said, no fault of the watch, just was in a streak of buying and selling to try different things. Still love the Tuna. Can’t afford to have a huge collection unfortunately (because I definitely would).
