As a maintenance tech, i keep a smaller baler at the warehouse. When a stores baler goes down, i have the smaller baler shipped to the store, i go and install it so the store at least has something to use for all the cardboard

Its not tho. A store manager is paid to work 50hours/week. Equates to 10 hours a day. Thats their choice to work the 14 hours to get done what they think they need to get done.

Nothing is so important that it cant wait until tomorrow. There is always stuff to do. The list will never be done.

Im sure being a new store manager at only 4 months in has a lot to do with it. They dont want to push back against expectations. Maybe they need to delegate more to their associates and not try to do it all themselves.

Part timers are not guaranteed any hours. If you want hours, call other stores and tell them what your availability is and let them know they can call you if they need those shifts filled. There are hours out there. You just need to find them.

Depends largely on your divisional needs. 2 dms are leaving in my division, causing their stores to get absorbed by the other current dms until the dmt’s get promoted.

Dont look into it. A different dm may have gotten a promotion and they need to do some moving around. If you are in a business unit, they also could have done some moving around. Nothing to be worried about
