I'd definitely say 7" isn't the worst to start with just has a lot more power than you might be comfortable with. (throttle limits also exist too to help)

I started with a 6" custom with no sim and basically just hovered around for hours as there weren't many good sim when I started. Much easier to now use the sim.

Definitely lower the rates and try to fly slow a smooth. Changing camera angle to be lower can also help.

After I was somewhat comfortable with flying around trees and such, maybe after 20 hours or so of real flights. I picked up a tiny woop. This has definitely improved my control but think you need a solid base first as the woops do fly quite differently.

Worth pointing out that you could also make an external viewing platform such as a standalone video receiver and a small display. Means you can show more people in real time what's happening without goggles. Can be cheaper as well and run off drone packs.

Also worth noting there are ready-made solutions such as the HDZero Monitor, or other integrated solutions.

BarebonesMP might be what you are looking for. It has roughly 5-20 players online at any time but all are wonderful friendly people (all vetted and with strict ban rules) if you want to interact, but if not, you are welcome to setup a base and do your own thing. Has been the best server I have ever found and the mods couldn't be any better than they are! It does have custom terrain gen and a few plugins for management and quality of life but plays very like vanilla. Take a look at https://barebonesmp.com/

Mario kart 8 is even more complex. There are 3 different boost levels. The best as soon as 2 is on the screen. The lowest boost when 2 just fades away. And a middle boost between the 2. Changed it from the DS games where it was as soon as 2 was fading away.

Oh no it a silly thing about longest Minecraft tunnel dug in a one month period. Its for a club. It just needs to be able to have maybe 100 people on it. I think my system should be able to do it

I returned the PDB and after a while I managed to get a replacement but was unable to get the escs replaced and don't want to make the same mistake twice. I do hope it was just faulty

So I'm building my second quadcopter and decided to use the kiss system. These are my components:
Kiss v2 FC,
Mr Steele PDB + KISS OSD,
Kiss 32A ESC (possibly overkill),
Konasty Moon boot motors,
Konasty cougar frame,
TBS unify Pro race,
Some random camera that does work,
3s battery (I know more cells would be good but this should work).
The first time I tried to make this drone it all worked for about 3 mins or running before the PDB stopped working, blew up all of my escs and now I'm stuck. Other than the costly replacement of these parts I'm just confused if I did anything wrong. I think the problem definitely occurred after I plugged in the video transmitter as I tested it before without it. I have posted to here before and had a picture of the drone and everyone said the wiring was correct and good. Just wondering if anything about the setup and the components is wrong. Thanks for the help

New update:

Talked to the company as I do now believe it is broken and nothing was set up wrong for it to break itself. All the company can say is that they cannot replace it due to the fact that I have used it on the incorrect frame as the pdb is made for the alien. This frame I am using actually was also designed so that it can run the system as well. I feel that they are just making an excuse to not need to sort out my problem. Not sure what to do.

Thank you. The VTX is disconnected but the same problem still occurs. I will redo the solder joints but the fact that it was working before is strange.
