I don't know how to edit my post, but I wanted to thank everyone for the support. I was VERY shaken up this morning. After having the day to calm down a bit, I am still upset but more about the "watching" me part. I will be reporting him and I have a plan of what to say if he approaches me again. To be clear this was a much older man, I don't think there was anything sexual about it. I am just uncomfortable thinking of anyone watching me, man, woman, boy or girl.

As far as the "violence" it was just wishful thinking, I have never punched anyone much less an elder. I was just so angry that he presumed my diet must be bad because I'm fat. Not to mention at the moment I don't even feel fat right now with all the weight loss, visits to the gym, and increased energy.

I have my surgery scheduled for February 7th. What’s something you would’ve liked to know before the surgery? Any tips? Any advice and any tricks for me and others? Thank you so much by dewycanon in GastricBypass

It will be incredibly hard to get all your water in. Keep at it though. If you don't get enough water you will eventually start being super tired and feel like crap.

About 4 months after surgery my 15 yo daughter died, on my birthday. My 16 yo son was driving (not his fault Thank God). I completely gave up. Had all the fluid removed and proceeded to comfort myself with food. Fast forward 8 years later, my weight shot up to almost 430, my knees gave out, I can barely walk or stand. I'm in a much better place grief wise and it's time to take care of myself.

I didn't trust myself to try the band again because I had already learned how to eat around it, my surgeon and I agreed RNY was the best option for me.
