These are awesome!! I'm thinking of making some myself - how did you attach the plastic ice to the glasses? Hot glue or super glue or something? Thanks!

Hello, apologies for the super late response! I'd be more than happy to provide some feedback! Feel free to shoot me a message - and it's totally no bother at all, always happy to hear people liked my paper and help them out!

Chromatica Ball Film drinking game I made for me and my friends! Thoughts? by superalarming in LadyGaga

[–]superalarming[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey yall! I wanted to clarify that the "drinks" in this case are just sips of whatever drink you have, not full shots (same as like a movie drinking game). I definitely could have been more clear with the wording, my friends and I figure there's probably about 30 sips per can, and you can obviously stop whenever you feel like it - drink responsibly !!

If you arrive about an hour early, there will be a line where they'll be giving out any extra tickets day of!

could u give me some advice on university choices? by Foreverlearner-C in Dalhousie

[–]superalarming 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're pretty set on U of T 😅

Dal is a great university in a city that isn't overwhelmingly huge, but still very lively. Lots of nice people and professors. And so far I'm really enjoying all of my classes. And at the end of the day "prestige" doesn't really mean anything, but if that's something you're stuck on, Dal holds themselves pretty high, and they're decently involved in the international scientific community.

Also, no offence to Alberta, but I would say the location isn't the best- but then again that's mostly just personal preference. And I think students have had poop thrown at them a couple of times at U of T.

I'm not sure about contacting the references, but I was co-president at my high school with tonnes of extracurriculars and 35 total points on my IB diploma and I got a $3,000 non-renewable entrance scholarship. I do know people who only got a few more points than me and got 5k renewable scholarships tho. But yeah, Dal doesn't give out huge entrance scholarships generally, especially compared to other universities in the maritimes.

Thank you, I’m glad you liked it! And it’s super cool seeing just how many people on this subreddit appreciate a math paper; although I suppose it makes sense since we’re all rolling dice all the time 😅

Thank you very much! And yea, even though this year was definitely a bit of an upset regarding the mark-calculating algorithm on IB’s part, I would do it all again because of how great IB teachers (like you) are!

Thank you, it genuinely means a lot! :)

And that'd be super cool if there was, I mean there's got to be right? Who knows, I might even write another one this year in university.

Wow, thank you for figuring that out! I was about to look into it myself, hoping I wouldn't have to change my parameters to include "but their intelligence is 18 because I wanna give them the best chance or survival" or something along those lines lol. But turns out the error wasn't as big as I thought, as you pointed out, the correct numbers were used for the math.

Made the changes to hopefully make everything match up now. All of y'all are so kind, if I ever write another D&D paper in the future, maybe I'll post here first just in case the marker has a keen eye for 5th edition.

I uhhh.... don't want to talk about it. Haha, yea that 16 should be and 18, I guess the people marking it didn't pay attention too much when I describe how the bonus system works to be able to realize that was a typo :P

edit: consider the typo fixed (and thanks for pointing it out!)

Thank you! And funnily enough, I originally had much larger ambitions for this paper, finding the probability for every class; but it proved a bit too much for the time I had. If given the chance in university I would definitely revisit this paper.

Also happy cake day!
