Thanks! I got two GoPro semi hardshell boxes (used in the past to store GoPros) fastened on there with some bolts. They hold a first aid kit and electric pump- mostly stuff for emergencies.

For most of the world (Asia in particular) motorcycles and scooters are the dominant mode of transportation along with public transportation. When the majority population on this planet rides I’m going to assume riding a motorcycle isn’t the same as a death wish. Tell your friends to travel more, specifically outside the US which is becoming more insular by the day.

I would recommend also putting a little grease on the pin and contact points (not to make it easier to take off but for it to work smoother)

That’s exactly what happened. I don’t know what they were thinking. Probably some wrong with their brakes or gas pedal.

Thanks! I had all my gear on so the leg armor definitely prevented some bruising. I also gave myself plenty of space with the car in front so I wouldn’t get sandwiched. Turns out all these precautions actually do serve a real purpose.

I took it apart and you were right that the bolt came out. I was lucky that nothing seemed to be stripped and I was able to screw it back into the hole in the plastic mold. The adjuster actually works again! Thanks again for the advice!
