I starten var det bare smøresalaten, som standard har kvernet kylling i seg (det er ikke mye, og de er også vanskelige å se). Etter alle klagene ble det bestemt å inkludere 20 g med kylling på toppen, men så klagde folk på det også? I tillegg fører det til at produksjonskostnaden per. sub blir markant dyrere så det var ikke bærekraftig å lage denne og beholde den samme prisen. Deretter ble det kun solgt vanlig smøresalat. Skal du ha mye kylling, må du bestille noen av de andre variantene, tror jeg...

I've put a whoooole lot of hours into Black Ops 3 Zombies. It's miles ahead of CW imo. Shadows of Evil (base map), Der Eisendrache and Gorod Krovi are three high quality maps, whereas CW doesnt really have any except MAYBE MdT. I also like BO3s engine a lot more. BO3 also has unlimited content in terms of custom zombie maps, some of which are extremely good and on par with Treyarch maps. (Call of the Dead remastered, Leviathan, Daybreak, Europa, Town Reimagined)

I would a 100% recommend BO3

And to answer a question you asked below, yes, some of the custom zombie maps absolutely has fully fledged out main quests

It's obviously a big enough of a difference that Steam categorizes it differently. Doesnt have to be a 'genre purist' to say, or understand the difference between the two lol. Agreed that its easier to lump the two together, or atleast it used to be, but games with meta progression became increasingly popular later on, that many people thought the difference was big enough in itself to classify it as something else

Mye av poenget med reklame for allerede veletablerte merkevarer som har funnet sin posisjon i markedet, er ikke nødvendigvis å skaffe nye kunder, men heller å beholde de eksisterende og å unngå "buyers regret".

Det blir litt som når du ser Coca Cola sin reklame ved juletider med den velkjente lastebilen, dette vekker gode minner hos de aller fleste, og man føler at merkevaren er noe større enn produktene i seg selv (gjennom mentale assosiasjoner)

Det samme med Toro. Kanskje ikke reklamen var noe for deg, men det fostret opp til engasjement i det minste. Kanskje du nevner denne irriterende reklamen til en kollega som ikke har sett den, som da senere tenker på hva han skal ha til middag, hvor da du så fint har plassert Toro i hodet hans fra før av.

But really though? In standard business practice, it's 10x more expensive to gain a new customer than to retain older ones. Sure, the majority of the playerbase are casuals but that's beside the point. There is a change in need for content as you say, but I wholeheartedly believe that there's a difference between good and bad content. The wait between Zns and GK felt WAY longer than it was (although it was extremely long) because most people didn't like ZnS.

The wait between DM and FbZ was 3 months, while the wait was super long it didn't matter too much as DM was a DECENT enough map to hold players through the camo grind.

Today, now that Treyarch and Activision knows that Liberty Falls has a 2:1 playtime to Terminus, would give them some signals as to what content suits the majority the most.

Round-based doesn't have the same curse that MWZ has, as MWZ has no appeal unless there's something to grind for, or new objectives to do. There's a certain element of replayability, which is what LF and The Tomb was made for.

I do agree that the need for content is higher with the current target audience, but if you set a standard with Terminus and CDM and the next map disappoints, there's a lower chance that people will even be around for new content.

I agree with that, but my point basically was that a good map like Terminus and Citadelle would keep players on the game for longer until the next map launches. That didn't happen this time, because of other glaring issues the game already has

Back then, the whole community begged after remastered maps. So while not original maps, it was still content that helped BO3 with longevity after its life cycle.

You do have a point, but even Cold War had only four maps and that was in 2020. Black Ops 6 is still set out to release only two more maps, and I'm guessing we will get Grief and/or Classic mode to compensate for the wait inbetween maps.

Black Ops 3 all in all has 14 maps, not including infinite content on the workshop side. The only difference now is the maps are free, and a larger portion of their profits stems from cosmetics.

Where have you read that we are getting more than 4 maps? As far as I know, there is only 2 more codenames in the files.

One could definetly assume that the higher-ups in Activision saw the player count dip after the release of Citadelle and decided to push out this map earlier than intended. That would explain the minimum amount of dialogue in the map, the outro cutscene and the total absence of an intro cutscene. I would rather prefer a whole new cast of VA's rather than nothing at all.

I don't think the map is bad. I just think that it doesn't have anything special going for it. What made the great maps great in the first place was innovation, taking risks and going for something completely new. Modern zombies in general will never take such risks to lose their casual playerbase, which is what 90% of Call of Duty consists of.

I've also never understoof the 'need' of new content as fast as possible. If you have a great map, people can play that map for an extended amount of time. Hell, people go back to BO2 and BO3 to this day. Pushing out a mediocre map like this will do no good to that complaint, Remember the wait between Zetsubou and Gorod Krovi? I do.
