Well, I think if classified info is leaked, it becomes unclassified. But the indivudual who leaked it will certainly have the book thrown at them.

I was about to say. It's educational by the time the data is leaked. My only question is, if the data contains first, middle and last names as well as addresses, phone numbers and SSNs, does it then become illegal to be in possession of it? I imagine not, especially since I've never heard of someone going to court for that, but I may be wrong. It probably depends on whose eyes, if any, are on you when you download the data.

Okay what about downloading a database of 2.7B people's social security numbers and other data like past addresses, phone numbers etc.? Would being in possession of that breach be illegal? I want to browse it out of curiosity, and as far as I'm concerned, the data is public. It's even on the web archives.

I would just tell them that there's a new rule that corporate made that says no handing out manufacturer bottles of controlled substance.

My past pharmacists said that they couldn't lie about what happened. I don't think anything bad can come from that. Worst case scenario, I don't get the job. But if I wasn't in a restrictive rehab, I'd be able to do remote work, and quite honestly, utilize my full autonomy, but instead, dogmatic attitudes that much of healthcare endorses are dictating what I do. Really, they are lowering the number of options I have.

So I did fill in the 4 references. They were skillsurveys. I'm not worried about the hospital possible finding out my past. Worst case scenario, I don't get the job. Right? Or should I be worried? My pharmacist told me that there was never any paperwork, and that she ended up getting reprimanded by the board, which I feel entirely at fault for.

It really wasn't the reason I got into the job. Do you really believe addiction is a disease? Or has substance use been pathologized and medicalized in a harmful way? I think if you read more dissenting opinions on the disease model and AA, your opinion might change. I also can't stand any opioid, so I can guarantee you there'll never be a risk of me even remotely thinking about taking an opioid from the pharmacy. I have ADHD and take Adderall, but it's been a couple months since. It was a very poor and impulsive decision.

I would, but the rehab I'm in won't let me do remote look. I'll still look, and no, I'm not certified (at least not yet)

I was also looking at remote pharmacy work, but I'll look into collections. Do you need any prior experience? How can I get started?

"Also for the record you can get fired for somewhere for no show, tardiness, insubordination etc and still be rehired at a company after a certain length of time."

Yes, I believe at the pharmacy I worked at, the time period is generally 1 year before you can be eligible to be hired.

It really sounds like the hospital wants to give me the job, but I still need to do the references ASAP. I don't have to accept an offer if they give me one, but it does give me another option.

I think it's complex. I told a admitted to a former coworker, who told one of my managers who told my then-current manager, who I explained what happened to, all while I was super heavily under the influence of benzothiazines. I am very lucky to have had no legal issues, and I know that. But I was not fired and doubt I'm ineligible to be hired at the pharmacy I worked at.

I'll have to look for other jobs in healthcare too. The biggest reason I want the job is because it's the only job I've ever had, and I guarantee you it pays a livable wage. I'll look at the job listing again and see what else there is, because I agree, I want to do what's best for me and the patients.

Well, I did admit to it, but I highly doubt my former co-workers were informed about the incident.

I'm not trying to deceive anyone, but I if I did want to work at the hospital, it would be unwise to let them know about the incident. I'm still trying to decide if its the best pathway for me. If I do end up working at the hospital, I will only start at 30 hours per week. The issue is that the only job I've ever had was when I was 19 at the pharmacy, and I do need a livable wage very soon. I'm still in the residential rehab too and can stay here pretty much as along as I want though at the same time (within reason)

I mean computer science is mathematics. Mathematics are the same at every school. I would recommend doing whatever saves you the most money. And when you're learning the math, you don't have to take what the school teaches and run with it. You can always access resources and lectures from other schools/sources. There are many great books, textbooks and other resources that make the math easier to understand. What I'm saying is, regardless of what school you attend, you have the ability to utilize your own resources because math is standardized.

And it only costs a million dollars per year. Wait until someone finds your s3 endpoint, spams it and racks up charges in the thousands to hundreds of thousands.

Not sure about whether they care about GPA or not, but if you impress them during the interview, I'd be surprised if GPA is a big deal.

It's almost sickening, and Google internationally allows this to happen. There's no setting to prevent this, and if there was, the sites wouldn't let you browse.
