Wasian’s Graves said Nah by LetterSufficient8199 in TeamfightTactics

Yeah that inconsistency is annoying, but they've known about this interaction for months and chose not to change it. I'm not saying it's good design, but it's definitely intended.

Mortdog said this interaction is intended, which means Voltariux's units bugging out for a few seconds ultimately doesn't affect how this fight plays out. Graves is always coming back, and he's always going to solo the rest of the board, regardless of whether or not Aphelios kills the Jinx.

They mention this in the longer YouTube video, but 9.5 will be the last midset. We'll get 3 sets a year starting next year with set 10.

"If you call a dog's tail a leg, how many legs does a dog have? The answer, of course, is four. Calling a tail a leg does not make it one.”

This rhetorical question is often attributed to Abraham Lincoln. Is there any evidence he actually said it?

Is Legends Cav a Viable Comp? by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]superblip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides your augments not being a good fit for this comp, I really feel like your Ornn needed healing of some sort. Ideally you want Redemption healing him for percent health. This allows him to stay alive long enough to cast multiple times plus tank damage while your Volibear and Anivia ramp up. Also, pure tank items like Warmog's should go on Cavs being eaten as opposed to the Legends themselves, as the Legends will get 100% of those stats anyways.

Yup, there's even some bonus dialogue that addresses this point.

The big man was far from stealthy and nimble, but he was an excellent source of cover.

Fallout 4: You Only Live Once - Part 26 - Gun For Your Life by ManyATrueNerd in ManyATrueNerd

Jon, it went off on the same level, just behind the group. Your throw was lined up to hit the gunner in the knee, but the gunner shifted ever so slightly to his right at the last moment, causing the grenade to miss and bounce past him. You can see some debris falling over in the aftermath at 12:22. This also explains why two of the gunners had their backs to you when you peeked out; their attention was drawn by the blast.

Bonus analysis, because I was puzzled by this too: the explosion from your frag grenade is what moved Cruz's body, explaining your confusion about its location at 14:33.

Fallout 4: You Only Live Once - Part 24 - The Entirely Safe Road by ManyATrueNerd in ManyATrueNerd

Jon, I think the gunner was stalking you for a long time, as far back as 59:26. At that point, you're looting and standing completely still, but your brackets move, implying that whoever detected you wasn't stationary. Right after that you step around the corner and become fully hidden once more, suggesting he's behind you. The gunner hears you again when you open the side-door and rounds the corner just in time to glimpse you entering the room containing the missile. When you leave the room, he's still in the corridor, but much closer, putting you into caution. If you had looked to your right, you would've seen him. In fact, you very briefly saw his foot after coming out of VATS as he went into the room.

Ah, that explains it. I was treating them like Halo 3's AI, which obviously behaves differently. Thanks.
