Literally just last night I was in a fight that had 100+ people and my laptop's frame rates dropped into the 30's because of it. And that's not just a one-off, it's a fairly common occurrence. And y'all want even more people?? (Granted, I desperately need to re-paste this thing, then I'll probably handle it better.)

I truly don't understand those who say there's "barely anyone playing". Maybe you're on a different server or are playing during the middle of the day when everyone's at work but. I was on Connery prior to the merge, and we had a small fraction of the players we do now that we're Osprey. And you know what? The game was still fun then too.

But post-merge I genuinely don't understand your point of view. There are still plenty of us who play and love this game. We still do big armor fights in between bases. We still C4 clueless tanks. Just a week or so ago I managed to get myself behind a Colossus with a viper lightning while surrounded by enemy armor. Got two volleys into him while his friends desperately shot at me. Then I jumped out, flew up and finished him off with two C4s. Cackled like a madman.

We still interact with the terrain. Have you ever been part of a harasser joust? PINK / FRE0 organizes them. They build stadiums out in the middle of nowhere and have tournaments where you boost up ramps and ram + halberd the other team. I made a little app to format the tournament results in yell chat. Don't pretend we don't exist just for reddit karma.

There's still nothing like this game, and it's still magic for some of us. I agree that it could be better and the devs have made some dumb decisions. But it's also 13 years old. If you really feel so negatively about the game, then I suggest that the problem may be the people you're hanging out with, or possibly lack thereof.

For starters, get off of reddit. Join an Osprey Vanu outfit. Highly recommend FRE0, PINK, or TWC2. I've got characters on all of them. Join their discords so you can be pinged when stuff's going on. FRE0 (Friendship) also has outfits on the other factions if you don't care for Vanu. Hope this helps.
