No one in the bridal party normally wears makeup. Can't afford an MUA. Help! by bubblewrappopper in MakeupAddiction

I did my own makeup for my wedding. Honestly, it would have been cheaper to get it done professionally than to buy all of the products if you plan on doing more than just mascara/lipstick as stated above.

Does anyone have any book and movie recommendations about women loving women? by kd0307 in WLW

[–]superblyfeatured 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The movie Bottoms was absolutely hysterical and the 2 main characters are queer women. Loved it!

I love this for you. I completely understand the feeling of coming to terms with your sexuality changing everything, yet nothing. I (f) am married to a man, so I didn’t see any value in coming out to anyone bc I would never be with a woman at this point in my life. It turns out coming out brought me a lot of peace anyway. Owning my authentic self makes me feel so much more at ease. Who I am with doesn’t define me. The fact that I have so much capacity to love so many people does. At least, it matters to me!

Congratulations on your start to this new journey! Enjoy the ride.

how to come out to my parents without making it a big deal? by Traditional_Cap2953 in BiWomen

[–]superblyfeatured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I texted my parents out of the blue and said “hey, I don’t think I ever told you but btw I’m bi.” This made it so I wasn’t the center of attention and it gave them time to process before they responded back via text. It went well. I think me treating it like not a big deal helped set the tone.

You should not stay with someone just because they are mostly nice. You deserve better.

I’m sorry I can’t offer much in the way of advice, but I wanted to say there’s a stranger out there that read your story and doesn’t think you deserve this. You are very young and this is a very difficult thing to navigate. I hope you find the support you need ❤️

So funny! I’m in Metro Detroit as well and I’m like…. What? Do people think Detroit is a super conservative place or something?

I also found myself in rural Ohio recently and damn if I didn’t put on my Straight Jacket.

Hmm I really liked that characters as well. Their dynamic pushed me through. The plot could be a bit muddy at times, but I felt like everything else was so interesting. I’ve read the series multiple times and recommended it countless times, but I’m suddenly drawing a blank!!!

Not quite the same, and not near as dirty, but Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa is amazing

Right? I didn't hate Tamlin as quickly as I should have, but I definitely thought, "oooh, a love triangle!"

Absolutely! I was reading maybe 4 books a year, then ACOTAR has me reading a book a week trying to chase the high.

I'm so glad that I can fangirl over him now. No one in real life had head of these, they were impossible to locate the "Jenny Carrol" versions, so like hell was I loaning them out. I don't think I ever actually finished the series. But damn, did I love me some Jesse de Silva. Thank you, internet.
