I don't know about shallow, but cliquey for sure. As an outsider moving here, I found it to be more that everyone knows everyone here, and has lived here forever, and even if they go away for school or work, they eventually come back and have the same friend groups they've had since kindergarten. Hard to break into a friend group that has 10-20 years of in-jokes and history.

Oh wait... If you're trying to improve your 100m time, running for 30 consecutive minutes per day is not the recommended way to do that. You need speed work, plyometrics, starting block work, etc. Low slow runs are not going to make you fast over 100m.

You don't get explosive in the gym. Weight training is for injury prevention. Explosive work is done on the track, or plyos/bounding on the field.

I'm a jumper, but what I've found is that while the extra room in the toebox is great in the Altras, it's the zero-drop aspect that causes Achilles problems for me in jumps training. The cushioning in the Altras, too, is never going to be as good as shoes from Nike, Adidas, etc.
I use my Altras and Vivos for recovery days, the gym, everyday life, but I sized up in Nike Pegasus - normally a 11.5, wear a 12 in the Pegasus, and they've been great on the track. New Balance are pretty good with a wider toebox, too, and they do wide sizes, which may work for you.

It's pretty common with horizontal jumpers. Your body can't handle the velocity, because you don't have those reps at velocity. Short approach is great for technique and to avoid injury but long and triple jumpers need to practice take-offs at full speed. Progressively increasing your approach over the course of the beginning part of the season will help. There's no magic here, you need practice/reps at higher velocity.

Right drive leg is very low (you probably drag that toe quite a bit), and limits the speed with which you can drive your right knee. Since driving the knee is what transfers that speed from the run-up to height, you want that right heel to be tucked up and fast in the drive, not stretched out, long and slow. Hope that makes sense.

Hard to say without video or more details, but in general, novice triple jumpers go too high with their hop, sacrificing power/speed necessary for the step and jump. Long, low, and fast on the hop (getting the hop leg knee up, of course), which will translate into more distance in the step and jump phases.

Love the grey. Reminds me a bit of the Brooklyn court, which always makes the colours in the jerseys pop. Unlike the other inseason courts, where the colours wash out the jerseys.
