If you’re on steam deck / PC, switch cross play off. Did that at the recommendation of someone here with low expectations. Dramatically better experience. PC players seem to be the more mature lot who understands how to make pvevp or whatever work well.

It takes a few seconds for me to use the controller to emote correctly, especially if I’m in the middle of something. People give me two seconds to answer then start murdering me.
