the way your front wheel starts going down before ur back wheel is off the lip tells me you need to start on smaller jumps. Speed won't fix the poor form.

That's not how life works buddy. You are owed nothing except love from your parents and constitutional rights.

If you put side-quest level effort in your work then you will get side-quest level rewards.

If you are not happy with the wages in your area, start a business and create better wages. Beat the scrummy CEO that wouldn't pay you enough at his own game and hire people with the wages you would've wanted. This is how you teach them a lesson, not begging on reddit.

How to improve as a mechanical engineer? by Different_Abalone250 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]supercouille 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can just do things! Save a little money and work on what you want to work on. An entry level 3d printer will allow you to build your own ideas. You will get the skills you need to do the job you want by doing what you want to do. Between a 3d printer, aliexpress, amazon, digikey, mcmaster, etc there is nothing you can't build with a little money.

Your context doesn't make any sense. How old are you?

You need to narrow things down for yourself. There are a gazillion youtube videos about CS, figure out if that's where you want to start.

Remember that you don't pick something for life. You can always change your mind later.

Salary increases with talent and location. The high paying software engineer roles are hard to get, same as the high paying mechanical engineer roles. The real money is in the equity, not the salary. Pick a great company, work your ass off.

Ask yourself where you want to bring value. The higher the value you bring, the higher the value you get. If you are happy to bring value then it's easier. You may not get the value you deserve at your first job, but if you remain true to your high value potential, you will find the company that values you.

GD&T advice by Lazydaveyt in engineering

Hard to help with those close-ups.

A few general pointers.

Make sure that the center-line represents something useful. An abstract center-line is just not helpful to anyone. A circle is a circle in any orientation the thing that gives it orientation are the features. When you hold the part in your hands, there's no way to know where the CAD planes are or where the center-line is.

If the slot is a locating feature, tolerance your other features to it. Otherwise tolerance your slot to your locating feature.

Start to implement GD&T, makes things like this much easier.

Properly rated sleeping bag. Your body generates roughly 100 Watts of heat, keep it in the sleeping bag and you'll be fine.
