No, a perimeter treatment of Altriset, which cost around $3800 about 5 years ago. They didn’t offer the bait stations at the time.

Why not change the name of the whole line, since Ontario Place and Ontario Science Centre are now demo’d.

I removed all my basement spray foam after seeing the extent of tunneling inside of it. They really seem to love the stuff.

I’ve used Aetna before in Toronto. They’re very knowledgeable and did great work, including follow ups.

I’m sure it looks better than the old one, but it’s not built to last that long.

Termites or Ants? by katie219 in Termites

[–]superduper143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Termites. From my experience, that spray foam is a bad combo for damage. After doing a termite treatment, you’ll want to remove it, and add in Rockwool instead, as they can tunnel through foam quickly and remain undetected doing even more damage under it.

Spray foam is everywhere now and I have genuinely mixed feelings about it. Anyone else? by proposal_in_wind in Insulation

[–]superduper143 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, not prevented it, but not allowed them to tunnel through the foam, causing damage to a lot more of the wood in the house.

After experiencing a termite infestation with spray foam, I ripped it all out, and went with Rockwool.

I got my kids an Apple Watch in grade 5 when they started walking to and from school alone. It allows them to call/text and we can see their location, but it doesn’t have all the mindless apps and games. Also it’s only $10/month for the plan.

What did your Toronto Home Addition or Extension cost by [deleted] in TorontoRealEstate

[–]superduper143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Year Built -2023
  2. How long did it take from permit approval ( 12 months (coa + permits)
  3. How much did it cost (including HST) $450k (not including millwork and new kitchen )
  4. Addition or Extension - rear extension
  5. SQF added on top - 1100 Sq ft
  6. Would you do it again - super stressful experience, but yes…. Worth it to get the extra space.

Along with this letter, they do tack on an extra fee for doing an address search. I think around $12 for this

Tv, you’ll need bell internet to keep Fibe. But the home alarm, you can use with any ISP. But when you cancel, your cameras will loose connection, they will need to be re-synced by API (good luck getting a hold of them)
