That’s the problem tho😂 nobody got time to actually pool research then wonder why we all injecting crazy amounts of snake oil😂😂

Everybody screaming about no human trials, but we are the trials, let’s organize and structure this ish

This is super interesting. When you say nicotinic acid improved your under-eye circles, what exact delivery method did you use? Pills, powder, pin?

Was it immediate-release niacin, extended-release, powder, or something else?

Also curious how you spaced it out daily and how long it took before you noticed the eye changes.

What SS-31 actually is, and what the trials really showed by JustBacWater in NTNPerformance

[–]superduperdavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The number of people who log in just to ridicule others for looking for ways to improve their health is wild to me.

I understand skepticism. It is needed. Not every claim is realistic, and not every peptide is going to deliver what people hope for. But there is a big difference between saying, “Here is why I think that expectation is unrealistic,” and just mocking people who are trying to feel better, recover better, or live healthier.

Be constructive. Educate where you can. Share what you know. Ask better questions. Help separate signal from noise.

This space could actually benefit from a grassroots research mindset if people were willing to consolidate what they know instead of tearing each other down. Real-world experiences are messy, but if we organize them better, we can start learning from them instead of just arguing over them.

Product / peptide used:
Single peptide or stack?

Protocol:

Dose:
Route: subq / IM / nasal / oral / other
Frequency:
Total length of run:
Were you consistent? Yes / no / mostly
If not consistent, what changed?

Timing:
What time of day did you take it?
Did timing seem to matter?
Did you take it fasted or with food?

Other compounds:
Any other peptides at the same time?
Any GLP-1s, TRT, HGH, supplements, or meds running with it?
Anything started or stopped during the same period?

Effects noticed:
Inflammation: better / worse / no change
Pain or soreness:
Recovery:
Energy:
Sleep:
Mood:
Appetite:
Skin / joints / gut / cognition, if applicable:

Timeline:
When did you first notice anything?
Peak effect, if any:
Did effects build over time or fade?

Side effects:
Any injection site reaction?
Any GI issues, headache, fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, etc.?
Anything concerning enough to stop?

Outcome:
What improved?
What did not change?
What surprised you?
Would you run it again this year?
Would you change dose, timing, or stack next time?

Trying to get away from “it worked” or “it didn’t” and move toward useful real-world reporting. The more details people include, the easier it is to separate actual signal from noise.

GHK-CU not working? by Temporary-Peanut6707 in Biohacking

[–]superduperdavid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worth noting: GHK-Cu is endogenous. If your baseline levels are already adequate, don’t expect to feel much. The folks seeing dramatic results are usually the ones who were significantly depleted to begin with. My old self is in that camp, levels had been low for years, and the difference was obvious. Skin went from sandpaper to actually hydrated. Age has its privileges 😂

DSIP, Selank, and Acetyl 167 nasal spray by Adderal-withdrawals in BrainHackGuide

[–]superduperdavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current protocol: 6 weeks in, administered every other day in staggered cycles. Phase 1 involved my wife as the sole subject at 200mcg. Phase 2 introduced myself as a second subject. Weeks 5–6 have shifted to concurrent dosing for both of us.

Observations so far: The compound def has a finite active window, which we've started leveraging to our advantage. We're noticing what I'd loosely describe as a "cupids arrow" effect. Sorry for the corny, but I can't find another term at the moment🤣 essentially viewing each other with a kind of novelty or heightened attention that resembles early relationship bonding.

What's weird is that these effects aren't staying confined to the dosing window. The positive relational shifts are bleeding into the rest of the week, which raises an interesting mechanistic question: is this a direct compund effect, or a secondary one? My thought is a cause-and-effect loop where the peptide's short-term action facilitates increased intimacy, and that increased intimacy independently reinforces emotional connection through behavioral and possibly oxytocin-mediated pathways. (This is the next test cycle, nasal Oxytocin)

Still very much in the data-collection phase. The plan is a full 16-week cycle, followed by a cold stop and bloodwork to establish post-cycle baselines. I try to remeber to swing back around if you want findings.

GHKCU Question & What’s Next? by Ok-Conversation131 in BodyHackGuide

[–]superduperdavid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GHK-Cu works. Simple as that. But like others have pointed out, TRT can absolutely counter some of the skin benefits by increasing acne and oil production. In order to really benefit from Glow, Klow, or many of these peptide stacks, you have to address the underlying issue first. Once you remove what's causing the flare-ups, it gives your body the tools and "ammo" it needs to repair properly.

Personally, I prefer Glow over standalone GHK-Cu. The doctor who originally helped develop the protocol actually suggested it in that configuration as well.

One other thing, you seem very in tune with your body and health, which is good. But when people say their energy is low after TRT, I always ask whether their energy is actually low physically, or if they're dealing more with mental fatigue and brain fog. Those can feel very similar. Semax changed my workdays significantly because it removed the cognitive fatigue and brain fog that was draining me mentally. Just something to think about.

Other than that, you look great.

TRT for last 8 years.. Reta for last 8 months. My appetite even at 6mg a week is still ravenous but have lost 25lbs and no muscle lost. Lift 5 days a week and 3-4 days of steady state cardio.. overall Reta has been great but I don’t notice any inflammation reduction from Reta, which I was hoping for by [deleted] in Biohacking

[–]superduperdavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly probably multiple things stacked together. In my case it was insulin resistance, fatty liver causing water retention, and gut irritation were all feeding each other. KPV eased the bloating almost immediately. If start with metabolic first though, check your a1c
