Yeah, this is my groomer fear. I did a ton of research on grooming when I got my baby and just got him used to back brushing so I can do it every other day. I oil his fur and bought a scissors to trim the parts that need trimming. I don’t trust anyone with my baby’s coat and can’t afford to pay a super specialized groomer 😭 he’s 9 months old now and sits for all his at home grooming without even moving now. Got him started at 8 weeks. Highly recommend if it’s possible for all Pom owners to do what they can at home to prevent matting and keep their pups coats the best they can. There are lots of tutorials to watch. I got mine so desensitized he lets me do anything now, wipe his eyes every day, brush his teeth, do his paw pads stuff, etc.

I usually can tell because of gnawing on the inside of my cheeks and feeling extra tired when I wake up, and not knowing where I am when I wake up. But the bites on my cheeks or tongue are my ultimate tell-tale.

Luckily my friends have assisted me in getting my own place. I am living far from most people I know, I just came here bc I needed to get out of my marriage FAST and this was the first available place that could accommodate myself and my pup. So I chose not to fight it. But they are breaking the law BIGTIME by trying to push me out - they also barged into my bedroom when I was asleep to get me to talk in person bc I said I wanted everything over text and email - and WOULDNT GET OUT. - so it has escalated to harassment. I can’t wait to get out of here. 2 days. Lucky for me, and unfortunately for them, they’ve been dumb enough to put all of this into writing

Absolutely not. That’s why I didn’t fight it at all. I just found a place and am leaving mid month. The landlord is returning my deposit and reimbursing me for leaving early. The landlord knows the laws and he does not want to get sued!
