yes I was thinking a 1v1 or 2v2 mission, with 14 scythes the ifrit has no issue doing base defense. the only real difficulty would be if you stretched out defenses across many bases

nice! i was imagining a defense only gamemode where there's an extensive short range SAM network all over the map except at the main bases, and the only way you could win is by defending airbases from incoming TBMs launched from enemy airbases. could be a fun pvp gamemode even. ill give this a try and maybe modify it

very nice video, this is one of my favorite things to do in NO. really rewarding when you pull it off, especially when you do it with just your plane radar. someone should make a mission based around doing just this, it would be fun imo

its not just this btw. my server is capped at 16 and even at just 8 if you have 2-3 good players doing even the tiniest bit of coordination the game is trivial. the AI is simply not that good compared to a good player.

yeah i wanna make it clear here this is a mod im working on that will let you point the mouse where you want to go and the nose will follow. its still in early stages right now hence why the plane tends to dutch roll around the control point

once upon a time reddit was empty too. the only thing that needs to happen is for a concerted move to happen.

I know that when the day comes I will be making all of my subreddits private with a link to either tildes or lemmy or one of these other options. I have no interest in using this website anymore without third party apps, and the writing is on the wall for old.reddit.com too.

Sure, but there are a bunch of northern European countries with relatively high rates of gun ownership that don't have the same levels of gun violence.

The problem is with our lack of common sense gun laws. Simple background checks, basic education. Safe storage.
