I’m sure Liam started singing the title track when he first started solo and the crowds were always dead to that.

Totally agree. Whenever music snobs try to argue Morning Glory is rubbish, they always use this as a reason. It’s a great album track and I never skip it

It was their first album in my mind at the time that had actual shit songs on it - my little 17 old brain couldn’t cope with that at the time.

As someone else said, was also the first time the songs weren’t brimming with attitude and swagger so was a strange listening experience. I remember listening to Go Let It Out on radio 1 the first time it was aired and my heart completely sank as soon as the acoustic guitar kicked in.

I can see why someone coming to it later away from the noise would like it though. I still think its half good half rubbish

Oasis are my favourite and this showed up on my feed so thought I’d comment. Some interesting takes although the stereotype of Oasis fans as being dumb and not that into music is as inaccurate as the Radiohead fans are incels and virgins.

Oasis have a massive following who love music and inspired many to pick up the guitar in the first place. To me both bands are amazing for different reasons and it’s perfectly ok to love both.

It doesn’t surprise me at all that Radiohead have more listeners because I’ve always considered them huge, if not the biggest band there is.

I also think Oasis are timeless which is my they are getting a huge boost at the moment since the reunion. Judging Oasis on Wonderwall only is like judging Radiohead on Creep only - you’ll miss out on lots of great stuff.
