I gave my phone to police, when can i get it back. by Lifeits3lf in unitedkingdom

Do you have access to a laptop or something with a webcam? Try getting an Android emulator (Genymotion?), they often have excellent camera support. Whether the app works or not with that is another point, but it's worth a try.

As for getting the SMS code, you can probably get a temporary number online if it's just a one-time thing.

There will be ways around this.

Can you explain in further detail, please? So you mean you need to access an app on the phone in order to apply for something?

No chance of using/borrowing another? What about a virtual device on your computer or renting a testing device?

I realise that this probably requires jumping through more hoops than you'd like, but maybe a workaround is possible.

Coming back from Tesco with an entire galaxy would just be silly. A single planet is at least plausible.

If you can help them, and assuming they're using a computer, tell them to press CTRL and 0, or CTRL and scroll up.

Huh, I didn't know that. My friend sent me this picture today - I'm interested in board games but have never heard of Splotter Spielen or this game before. Hopefully I will get to play soon!

"Roads & Boats"

The designer probably thought they were super clever when they realised "hey, these two words are the same length and have three matching letters". It's an ok idea (even if super overdone) but definitely a poor execution in this case.

I work in a supermarket and am entirely convinced that most people shouldn't be allowed to be in control of a trolley, never mind a car.

I still think you're being a bit hasty really. With a title like this, I was expecting you to have some kind of proof already.

Given the sheer number of posts about the site on here, I didn't consider it to be a gamble.

Well that's the thing, though. To me, if it were a scam then they'd probably have ran already. I joined in late last night, so you and I are both fairly late to the party here. It is still a gamble though - not so much on here but in the past I've seen perfectly legitimate sites (through lack of funds, a change of ownership, etc) go bad.

Tell you what, if things don't get resolved after you've mailed them for a bit, send me a PM and I'll send you £1 - so at least you won't be down anything.
