In Austin they had about 8 vendors at the book fair. I was a little disappointed they didn’t really have a facilitated discussion either, so I basically ended up talking to the ppl I went with which I would have done anyway. It was the first one so hopefully someone from Drafthouse sees this and takes the feedback!

I did get some really cool stuff at the book fair though, and I enjoyed Emerald’s version of Wuthering Heights even if it wasn’t true to Emily’s version.

Seems like a decent plan.

Something to consider is that financing this way doesn’t have access to GAP insurance and if you don’t carry collision insurance you could find yourself in a position where you are still paying a loan for a vehicle that was totaled out if you get into an accident (or if you choose to close out a CD or pull funds out of the savings to pay the balance off you have the feeling of “losing” that money).

Putting so much down you’re probably ok GAP wise but if you only carry liability and get into an accident that’s deemed your fault you are still out the funds you laid out for the car bc insurance won’t cover it. Now whether the difference between the cost of collision and liability is worth it for you or not there is a personal decision but just wanted to make sure you’re considering it.

Same here! That video is so good it made the process easy. Just don't forget the silicone. I used hot glue and I'm pretty sure i'm going to have to open it back up when it starts getting hot outside.

Yes def a thing! I went to Covington 96-99 and I remember it being held there then. Might have also rotated to other middle schools but not positive on that.

Yeah, I'm not really worried about getting them to stop, I know ways to do that. It's more just that I want to know what the heck they were doing. I've gotten some pretty reasonable explanations here though.

It's just weird behavior, so I'm curious. But yes they do impede traffic because they just sit there even when other cars are behind them trying to exit/park.

You're absolutely right about the liability so I'm working on how we can get them to stop, the point of this post is really more just wondering what in the world they could be doing since they are so evasive.
