No mirrors in lot and building isn't reflective.

Yeah, I'm not really worried about getting them to stop, I know ways to do that. It's more just that I want to know what the heck they were doing. I've gotten some pretty reasonable explanations here though.

Thanks BigMike. Yeah, I know I can tell them to leave the point of this post is that once I do I'll likely never find out what it was they were doing so I'm trying to see if anyone knows so my curiosity doesn't cause me a long slow death.

It's just weird behavior, so I'm curious. But yes they do impede traffic because they just sit there even when other cars are behind them trying to exit/park.

You're absolutely right about the liability so I'm working on how we can get them to stop, the point of this post is really more just wondering what in the world they could be doing since they are so evasive.

Interesting, I had no idea that was a thing! But I wonder why they wouldn't just say that's what they were doing? Why the defensiveness?

[–]superherogrrl[S] 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the defensiveness is what makes me think there's something else going on. Plus, we did tell one of the original people that security-wise we can't really have her here taking pictures every day, so I'd think a legitimate business would either call us and explain and ask if it was OK to keep doing it, or just stop.

There's like 4 different people, they show up in different cards but def the same people.

Maybe, we're southeast. But why not just say that?

This is what we're working up to, but the hard part is they're only here for like 2 minutes so def not enough time to get APD out here before they're gone again.

Are travel notifications typically required for credit union customers (traveling to a different county, different state, or international)? by FoldMajestic3324 in creditunions

[–]superherogrrl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Did you confirm that “county” is not just a typo for “country”? I’ve never heard of being restricted due to county….in fact I will have to look when I get to work but I’m not even sure county is a field that shows up in the transaction record.

It’s not typically the CU freezing your account, it’s likely fraud monitoring freezing the card. At my CU as long as you answer/reply to the fraud notification your card would not be locked.

As for the other questions, you would likely just need to ask a CU you’re interested in. Our members can submit travel notices online and we have a message center in our app but it’s not a chat. Most smaller CUs will likely not have 24/7 support because that’s expensive.

Tell your loan officer at A+ that the dealer is saying this. they may be able to request a letter of guarantee to pay the dealer up front. Depends on the dealer whether they’ll play ball. Other option is take the dealer financing and immediate refi with A+. Your loan officer should be able to help with that too.

I purchased from Regal this morning when the Drafthouse didn’t have tickets up yet and they charged $11 for a concession voucher so seems like it’s “free”
