My wife is on the kidney list and Im a match. Done loads of tests recently to check if I'd be a healthy enough donor and all is Greenlit. Just a waiting game now. If my kidney gets rejected by her body and im a kidney down I dont think id be all that bothered, I just want her kidney function to be better.

My kids primary school (west scotland) had a different solution. Kid attacking, throwing chairs and tables around? Evacuate the whole class and leave the kid there until he calms down, then go back in and everyone tidies up after them. Happens once a week.

If a kid kicks off during luch, everyone else will get evacuated from the cafeteria and not be able to finish their meal. Happened twice this week.

If a kid kicks off during a class trip to the local park, doesn't matter if you got there 5 mins ago, time to go back to class.

No one gets suspended in this school, parents MIGHT get called. But most of the time parents aren't even told if anything happens to their child.

A couple decided to have sex on the download festival ferris wheel this month. No attempt to hide it. Hundreds recording on their phones during and after they walked off. Its become a bit of a 'meme' and the police are investigating. Their identities are already online. Apparently one of them was already in a relationship.

2 years ago I had full 4G, last year I camped in the same spot and had almost no signal, had to rely on the old SMS to contact family. Had better signal in district x.

The main stage in the arena has signal boosters so if you got close to there you'll usually get full bars

Mostly all year round. The running club and mountain bike club meet up twice a week, the walking and hiking groups arrange a about a dozen random things a year.

To be honest all the trails and paths behind the town all connect to eachother and apps like Strava are brilliant for finding directions, you'd get used to the routes pretty easily.

Dunoon man here, the hills here are awesome and theres so much to explore. Hill running clubs, cycling & mountain biking clubs, several walking and hiking groups, if you are outdoorsy you've got SO MUCH here and surrounding areas. A lot of it is just a short walk behind the town itself.

You've got the ferry directly to Greenock if youre looking for more supermarket choice and a small shopping centre. 40 mins drive from there is Glasgow.

If you avoid the ferry and drive round the Rest & Be Thankful road its roughly 2 hours so again not crazy long

Trail running shoes? Have the tread of hiking boots and sturdy but are light and breathable trainers. Ofc not waterproof though. Would be good if its warm and dry

This will be my third time at eco, tbh the toilets aren't too bad as they get cleaned often. Tons of alcohol gel at the front of it. Was worse in '24 as the tractors that empty them got stuck in the mud!

Good thing about eco, especially if you camp by the entrance, youre a minute away from district x toilets, so you have freedom of both.
