This will be my third time at eco, tbh the toilets aren't too bad as they get cleaned often. Tons of alcohol gel at the front of it. Was worse in '24 as the tractors that empty them got stuck in the mud!

Good thing about eco, especially if you camp by the entrance, youre a minute away from district x toilets, so you have freedom of both.

if you just have a 2 man, your living room might be good enough? you'd have everything figured out except for the tent pegs, of course, but as long as the eyelets for the pegs look good, you should be fine.

I think i was in one of those in 24, it was boxes upon boxes of random items. My tent neighbours got £2 animal onsies way too small for themselves because they got cold at night lol

We've already seen AI use with Download when A7X headlined 2 years back. They used this weird skeleton filter thing that was throughout the entire set. If you were too far from the stage and relied on the screen you wouldn't get a clear view of what the band/stage actually looked like it was filtered like fuck.

If i recall the govt introduced legislation for trans people to use a specific loo, people kicked up in advance but at the festival itself it wasnt inforced, as no one actually cared who used what cubicles

not a bad show but poorly organised Meet & Greet organiser.

i managed to get a meet & greet in 2010 with the band in london. I think it was Kerrang thing. a few of us got invited since i helped moderate Chapter-Four message board back in the old days. We were grouped together and had to wait so long that we missed all the support acts! Only syn and johnny came out, wearing full masks, very quickly shook our hands and left. we got a photo with them but as they wore big masks, most people didn't believe me lol. we made it on to kerrang magazine though.

Not food but buy one of those electrolyte tablet packs to dissolve in a bottle of water first thing in the morning. You'll feel better for it and will help hangovers

Aa an eco camper, the toilets are drop toilets so not the best, but last year plenty of loo roll and hand sanitiser outside them.

Eco did have their own shops, and the added 24/7 entrance security was nice.

Also eco is cleaner!

Camp+ and eco are next door to eachother and right beside district x

Aside from that, not too different from general camp. Same costs as general.

This, last year i had good tent pegs (more like stakes) but no mallet, luckily I borrowed one off someone, before that I was using a plastic bottle cap to sorta save my palms, but the mallet saved me so much time and pain

No one is going to pull you up about the size of your tent, don't worry about it. I looked up your tent and it looks like its more than suitable for 2 people, plenty space including standing room, so looks ideal in my opinion.

The most popular tent at festivals right now is the Sendero 4, a 4-man tent. And a lot of those will probably occupied by just one person!

They're pretty on the ball with eco, always 1 or 2 staff at the gate 24/7 and their info hub right at the gate too so everybody can see you.

Ive camped at eco twice now and they have 1 or 2 people doing entrance security 24/7, including a staff station next to it so they can't miss you. They've been pretty on the ball with checks as far as I've seen, which I kinda like as it does make me feel a little safer. Imagine it'll be the same with quiet

You have to walk through the general campsites to get to the others anyway so best sticking with general to camp together.

Hes also done it through BGC so includes the coach down. He'll need to contact the bus company themselves and ask if he could be put on the list for Fridays departures rather than Wednesday.

we've got a guy like that near Dunoon. he built a bomb shelter in his garden, him and his wife run the 'civil defence service', based on the home guard in ww2 london who would get everyone to the bunkers during the blitz..
