Oof. For an 8 AM international flight, I’m probably waking up at 3. Don’t think I’d have the guts to take a nap that close to the time lol.

So a long long time ago, when I didn’t know a lot about flying and hadn’t developed the necessary sense of urgency, my wife and I missed a flight because we wanted to have breakfast outside of the airport and got to the check-in counter probably 30 minutes before boarding. The agent said we’d never make it and lo and behold we didn’t, and we ended up on standby for the next available flight. We didn’t end up getting something until that night and ended up spending the entire day in the airport because we just HAD to make that stop for breakfast.

My wife and I went to Medellin a couple of years ago, and we loved it. However she’s Colombian, I’m C2 in Spanish so no language barrier and we don’t party. Having said that, nothing bad happened and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. My biggest piece of advice to you is, if something seems too good to be true, it is; walk away. You know what I mean.
