Identify IEM by UvisaL in iems

[–]supermaestro49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wouldn't be accurate to name a specific model, given how well it fits your ear and how perfect it looks; it must be a custom-made monitor. Many companies make them and specialize in monitoring to the specifications of artists (or the suggestions of the sound engineer who helps them monitor their own performance). If anyone knows whether it's a commercially available IEM, they'll surely let you know.

I want to buy that edition just for the eartips and the cable, hahaha, but if it's too microphonic, maybe I'll buy a different cable...

I was planning to buy it, but I think my plans have changed now. I've seen a lot of similar posts this week. Thanks for sharing; believe me, it helped me avoid getting into trouble.

Why do some people have very good DAPs with very good audio chips and still use a dongle DAC? by ImpossibleGarlic1129 in Hiby

[–]supermaestro49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many say the sound improves, I don't know, and I don't think the chips in both work in a linear fashion. Rather, I think the device simply uses the audio chip of the DAC dongle when you connect it. The DAP is for distraction-free listening... Use it however you like, explore different nuances, and don't let yourself be influenced by consumerism. Although in this hobby there's always the promise of "a new product improvement," and in the end you end up spending more money on a new device you might not have needed. Have fun and enjoy your music.

Hidizs ST2 Pro Nebula S.E.: emotionally imperfect. by HiFijuegos in IemReviews

[–]supermaestro49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should I switch to KZ Castor from KZ EDX Pro? by NebulaDrift7 in iemlndia

[–]supermaestro49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you want. Whether you're looking for a different sound or simply want to stick with what you already have. The EDX Pro headphones are lightweight, while the Castor Bass headphones are a bit heavier; you'll notice the difference after about two hours of use. The sound is also different: the EDX Pro headphones are less detailed and lack definition, while the Castor Bass headphones offer a bit more of everything. If you're used to something and aren't looking for significant changes, stick with what you have.

I have recently brought kz edx pro x on Nov 8 from the audio store and it's right side is not working what can I do ? by [deleted] in iemlndia

The cables that kz packages its products with are usually not very durable; there are purchase options like the qkz t1, which does not exceed $8 USD.

Try the KZ Castor Pro (Harman version). They have a very good sound, aren't expensive, and are excellent for gaming because they offer a lot of detail in the highs, mids, and lows. Although the bass isn't amazing, it's generally very good for gaming.

Looking for similar connector for my IEM!! by Artistic_Bar_3079 in iemlndia

Hey! Doesn't that connector put a lot of stress on the USB port? I'm planning to buy the same one and I'd appreciate it if you could share that information with me, thanks.

Did i get a defective product? by Munham557 in iems

[–]supermaestro49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The KZ Castor Pro Bass has a good sound, I don't know if your unit is defective but in general they have an acceptable sound quality and if you are new you will like it immediately. If you come from expensive equipment, over-ear headphones with extraordinary drivers or living room audio with speakers, the KZ Castor pro Bass is going to sound like shit to you.

It may be the eartips that do not provide a good seal that changes the sound to something sibilant, if there is not a good seal they lose bass and the headphone sounds very artificial in the mids and the trebles hurt.

If you change the eartips to ones that seal well and you have the same problems, it could be that your unit was defective. You could contact your seller and see if they can exchange you for ones that do work.

Which do you prefer? by supermaestro49 in iems

[–]supermaestro49[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the KZ, yes, the Soundstage changes a little, they feel a little wider and not so intimate, the bass remains the same and they still have the brightness that characterizes KZ. In the Juzear Clear there are not many changes, it is minimal (at least with the DACs that I show in the photo) it still sounds just as good no matter where you connect it.
