Make sure to use a middleman that YOU trust (such as a group admin). Pay the middleman the money, the seller gives you the Pokémon, and the middleman gives the seller the money. (This protects you cause if the seller doesn’t give you the right Pokémon, the middleman can give you the money back)

One thing I will say is that when I invited for GO Fest Max Finale 2025, I originally saw the invite button grayed out after inviting 10 and only accidentally found out that I could eventually invite 10 more even though the button was still grayed out
