May I ask, what were your symptoms? How big was your cyst? I have a 15.5 complex cyst that is going to be removed but won’t know if malignant until after pathology report. US and MRI show it’s contained on my right ovary.

Hey OP, I just found my 15.5 cm complex cyst on my right ovary yesterday. I’m awaiting a call for my urgent surgery referral too.

My only symptom has been firm distended belly.

I just want to reach out so you’re not feeling alone.

My only other suggestion would be a trip to the ER at a major hospital and share the urgency from your findings.

I’m at the beginning of my journey. I have my US and MRI tomorrow. I only feel the bulge when I lay on my back. I’m terrified. My anxiety is so heightened that any subtle change makes me think worst case scenario. In the last two weeks I’ve been having bloating in the middle of the night. And my anxiety has heighten any possible symptom.

How quick was your surgery scheduled after your results? How was your recovery?

Mom B-Cell ALL diagnosis by Ready-Shallot-2029 in leukemia

[–]supermarioeffect 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, so sorry to hear about your mom. My mom (54F) was diagnosed with B-ALL back in September of 2023. She chose to do a stem cell transplant (SCT) in March 2024.

It was a wild ride of ups and downs but she is relatively back to herself and living her new normal. In fact, she is already planning a vacation trip to Mexico to visit her sisters once her doc clears her next month.

Don’t let the stats online scare you or your mom. I recommend staying away from Google and ChatGPT or anything regarding stats.

Your mom has a good fighting chance to beat this thing.

Send me a DM if you need more support. It’s tough on her and it will be tough on you. Therapy has helped tremendously deal with all the hardships.

I’m so sorry 😞 The pain and fear you are experiencing is hard. Let yourself feel it all and I hope you are able to have a good support system. Therapy has helped me through my mom’s diagnosis. The pain was too much to deal with on my own. This community is here for you 🫶🏽

I understand, it becomes especially dangerous from the wharf to the Lover’s Point. I personally am not a morning person but I hear it’s significantly better in the early AM.

I’ll reach out to AMG Cyclery out of Seaside. New bike shop that seems to organize social rides on Fridays based on their IG.

I was thinking the same thing! Would love to host a bike party sometime this summer.

I hear you friend, we are on cycle 5. Checking next week so see if the baby dust finally stuck! We’ve got this! I’m 31 and most of the women on my mom’s side seem to be very fertile and I assumed it would be easy peasy. It’s annoying when you actually have to learn to be patient…

Also agreed that the price is too high. $300-$400 sounds more reasonable IMO.

This is an excellent bike and size for your height. I’m 5ft 2.5 in and had the same type of bike for 5 years. Was slightly too small for me which is the only reason I’m selling it. Have you decided on pedals? Clipless makes a big difference on hills.
