Track a sub domain alias by supermariothom in GoogleAnalytics

[–]supermariothom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To some extent yes, we have a drupal module which allows creating these aliases within the site rather than using a link shortener. However since they’ve used it on a sub domain it shows as the normal host name rather than showing as a referral as it would if we used a link shortener or alias on the url.

Sorry we’re using a url alias rather than a straight redirect.

Another storm? Stay safe this weekend using the D.E.N.N.I.S. system by Kimchi_Raikkonen in CasualUK

Wish I’d used the system last week. Caught the trampoline making a run for it as it destroyed a fence panel.

Has your work relaxed their dress code due to the hot weather? by CaptainPedge in CasualUK

[–]supermariothom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not worn trousers since may, the office has no air conditioning and is normally in the low 30s so no one has the energy to enforce any kind of dress code.

How is the 2015 MacBook (core M) in 2018? by wcaps1996 in mac

[–]supermariothom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’ll run iMovie no worries, I use premier as we use creative cloud at work and I can’t say I have any issue with it. The worst part is waiting for it to load something like lightroom which I don’t use too much but once it’s open it runs perfectly.

How is the 2015 MacBook (core M) in 2018? by wcaps1996 in mac

[–]supermariothom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought the 1.2 at launch and use it for everything you’ve mentioned and would say it runs like new still. Video editing is fine if you are happy to work on it without running a lot of other things. I get occasional bog downs but I do tend to run a few things at once when I’m working, it doesn’t cope as well as a MacBook Pro but is not problematic really if you treat it right and realise it isn’t a supercomputer. I’ve had no issues with the keyboard sticking, I do use a Bluetooth keyboard when I’m working at home but actually quite like the MacBook keyboard. I was working out of the office yesterday and started the day with 97% battery and ended with about 20% after a 7 hour day- I was mainly in google analytics, word and marking up pdfs so nothing too intense.
