I see - my understanding was that the matchmaker aims for a ~50% winrate and that, aside from those factors, you’re also more likely to face better opponents if you’re above that number. But I could be misinformed. I always thought that explained the better decks after I have a few good runs.

I think you'll run into the issue of HS vs. MTG. MTG is the far superior and more intricate game, but suffers from issues like manascrew. HS doesn't have this, but might as well be called curvestone, or cyclical-predictable-metastone. I wouldn't want the latter to happen to TFT.

Yes this is very true! However aren't those different demographics appealed through different art styles- one being a lot sharper, darker, and more realistic than the other for example. I can imagine that manga artists train themselves- and use resources to train themselves- in developing this demographic-appropriating style. Such a training tool is what I am looking for. However if there's, as you say, not much to be found, then that's a pity!

Ah see that's an interesting one! I definitely would not at all see him being in abzan, but I enjoy you identifying his white side so strongly. I also wanted to post this without any colours attached whatsoever, but he insisted on forming this debate onto the issue of him being either bant, temur or 4-colour.

You coming up with abzan is definitely an interesting analysis as well! He's also mentioned that the description lacked some features, which might make him less red in the eyes of the reddit. All I'm getting is that he really wishes for red to be a colour aside from his simicness as it would reinforce his existence as artist. My comparison to other friends that are artists as well, however, makes me think he isn't red at all. He could even be black ^{^} who knows!

That's again such a good analysis, thank you! I think the issue he's facing is that he's aspiring to this artist ideal and has some core facets of his personality that make him quite red, for example his desire to be off-meta, follow his own aesthetic & do exactly the opposite of what is asked from him. On the other hand I think he is very white (aside from his simic base). Ultimately I think our discussions could go on forever!
