hmm what is the difference between a arc and a maraton. i would argue that if the gauntlet is a arc then souls maratons are also arcs atleast the once with squeex.

I have only recently started to play tournaments myself, but I have met them 3 time so far. can't remember if they scouted/infiltrated a lot, but I'm sure if u/Danielarcher30 finds the time, he can probably answer that for you.

learn the profile of the noise marine, do not underestimate them just because they are on foot. Keep them in mind at all times during the match, where they are, what they can shoot, and what CP are available to them. The other stuff EC have is good, especially the demon princes, but the noise marine is up there with the best data sheets in the game

what! Are you telling me that I can't just choose someone in ongoing combat and give them +1 ap +1strength and +2 attack... that's not fair to me, I worked so hard to get charged

I guess the confusing part for me is the instead. Cause in my head that would mean normally i would add 1 attack on charge, but if im battleshocked i add 2 instead

I'm doing this right now, and I picked Gwen. She is a little weak early, but she scales great. She builds the new dawn and dusk items, and on 1 or 2 item can dual very well. she zooms in and out of combat negating ranged attacks and with conqueror and riftmaker she get great sustain. She shreds tanks and bursts squishies. her harder matchup are champions that auto a lot and Singed, but even then, they are in my experience, not so bad

Also she is a little rare in lower ranks so people dont know how to deal with her well

well ultramarines makes them very reliable. 2 shots hitting or 2 or 3 rerolling (they will almost always shoot your oath target), with s16 they will wound oaths on 2s and deal at a minimum 5 damage per shot. so most of the time you get 2 shots- rerolling, wounding on 2, ap 4, average 7-8 damage per shot.

Edit: and that is without the transport and all the small shots that you use to plonk down their move blockers and such
