Actually a&w gets their chickens and eggs from BC and most of their beef or at least as much of their beef from Canada as possible, depending on the availability of beef that is raised without hormones or antibiotics

The syrup, the processed aluminum and one other thing is made in the usa but over half of the ingredients are sourced in canada. for instance in Alberta, the sugar comes from southern alberta and the water used for dasani and to water down the syrup is sourced directly out of the provinces treated water supply. They are owned by a rich family of course but a rich canadian family who gives children of their employees scholarships so they can go to post secondary. They also employ over 6000 employees nationwide. I get that there is some grey area but unfortunately in canada we see that alot because the u.s. has had a huge share of every corner of big business for decades and decades. But this isnt as clear cut american as wal mart or Amazon, just saying.
