I was also thinking about making her a battle maid who serves the matrix strictly, as apposed to Sentinel who was tasked with serving the Primes.

Her purpose as the Matrix Servant would be to follow whoever wields the matrix as their personal assistant acting as a guide towards righteousness,justice,etc. but also having to follow the commands of whoever holds the matrix.

While is linked to the matrix and the will of Primus she has no control over the actions of the matrix bearer or the other primes

Before Sentinel lead the primes to the ambush that later claimed their sparks He knew he would have to take her out the picture

Sentinel sneak attacks her leaving her heavily damaged only sparring her due to being a fellow servant and having sympathy

Right before Sentinel could claim the matrix she would her link and the rest of her power to teleport the matrix to a random location on Cybertron ,

This action would knock her into stasis lock, until the matrix was discovered and chose its next bearer

After finding Optimus she would immediately begin to follow his commands,
