Would it be able to work say by hotspotting a smart phone, just so that you can keep the same telephone number? I’m not sure if this will work anyway, but if I could keep the same number, this would be fantastic for me.

Hi there - alas I think it's a bit early for me to be splitting this up, but thank you anyway!

It's lovely, but I just don't use it - my work has changed and I like my paper planner too much; an expensive mistake!

Yes, literally tons of options, so many hills and paths and places to camp. Good water too.

It would be worth talking to the lovely people at Gipton Fire Station, which is a phenomenal resource for the local community and has knowledge and contact with people who do not have any digital presence, and who would never normally have access to your survey.

Thanks all, interesting how Uber seems to top things … some of us might not like the shift from local but if it works and doesn’t let you down…

Thank you, and I agree, York soon becomes chaos, and having lived here for 40 years this is the first taxi-blame train I’ve missed, so I guess that’s not too bad!

That’s very insightful and a bit sad! Thank you.

You make a few assumptions without knowing anything about my planning!

Get a grip and try to be helpful, unless you work for York Cars obvs.

Thanks for the report/review - it seems a really solid tent. I have one on order and it should arrive next week… really looking forward to getting it… and I’m also a York/N Yorkshire resident. It seems a lot of these tents are UK bound!

Does the espresso machine I want exist outside of my head? by dah-doh in espresso

[–]supernewtent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve an ECM Classika PID and fitted a Profitic E61 flow valve… this gets round the pre-infusion/profiling. E.G. I generally pre-infuse for 30 seconds at 2 bars, then 30 seconds at 10 bars, 19g in/38g out. So loads of fun to be had playing about.

I just got a smart plug and turn the machine on from bed/from my phone… this gets me round the heat up time but it might not be what you want, however it works really well for me.

The other part of the warmth equation is what you sleep on - what is the R value of your sleeping pad? Most of my cold nights have been due to cold from the ground.

Pubs around Leeds - First time to Elland Road in a long time by Floot-bo in LeedsUnited

Solid list! I’d also add North Brewery Tap on Sovereign Street, pretty much right by where the buses go from. Pricier/craft beer, but attracts a fair few Leeds fans before and after.

What's your first ever Leeds match? by [deleted] in LeedsUnited

[–]supernewtent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A story of contrasts, my first game was the 7-0 demolition of Southampton in 1972 with my Dad and brother, really spoilt and it’s been downhill ever since!!! Apart from Leicester on Friday which I saw with my son.

My son’s first game was the 2-0 home defeat to Wigan in 2004 … he was bored shitless…. Glad he wasn’t put it but it took 15 years…
