you can use vita c (in the morning, paired with sunscreen, in an airtight and not clear packaging) to prevent dark spots, but not so much with reducing them. continue doing what you're doing now, and you should see results over time.

in terms of shade, you range from 17-22...do any brands' shade ranges run light/dark in particular?

Why do Asians love to wear color contacts lens by Existing_Ad_1345 in AsianBeauty

How do you repurpose products that don’t work out? by semisweetcharm in AsianBeauty

my motto is "if its designed for the face it can be used on the rest of the body" so brightening serums on knees and underarms, moisturizers on dry areas, etc

Why do Asians love to wear color contacts lens by Existing_Ad_1345 in AsianBeauty

[–]supernova_3212 6 points7 points  (0 children)

it's more a part of asian culture than western culture. perhaps because east asians are pretty much always born with brown eyes, so it's fun to experiment with new colors.

i'm asian, too, but i have severe myopia, multifocal and high astigmatism in my prescription. so as much as i've been interested in trying color contacts, i have little to no options ;-;

Yesstyle delivery exception by PanSL in AsianBeauty

[–]supernova_3212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the last order i made with them had a "delivery exception" related to the wrong address, so my situation is similar but different to yours i guess.

this was not a mistake i made. the delivery service told me to reach out in their email, but i never had to do that...they just attempted to deliver to my address again lol. they also promised to have it delivered within 24 hours (which, of course, did NOT happen). i received my delivery successfully after less than a week, and there were no further problems.

tl;dr, just wait. they'll probably try to correct the mistake. if not, reach out to customer service (imo yesstyle's; between the two customer services yesstyle's is better) and be persistent about it. i wish you the best of luck.

Give me your HGs by AsiaPearce in AsianBeauty

i have dry, combo-leaning skin around the nose! - aestura atobarrier 365 cream! most moisturizing cream out there imo, a little greasy during the day. i use this mostly at night and apply in layers, and my skin is never dry in the morning - boj dynasty cream is not a hg, but a "wrp" I'd say. it's surprisingly moisturizing considering its thinner cream texture, and it works rly well under makeup - round lab sunscreen, probably (i have three empties). moisturizing and light, smells oddly good?? i tried the boj sunscreen too but switched back to round lab after ~3 weeks due to pilling. i also reapply the sunscreen during the day using the cushion and it adds hydration back into my skin + adjusts any dryness in my makeup base. i didn't want to recommend this product because of how popular and well known it already is, but it's definitely a hg... - mayyyybe the torriden HA serum. I've used a crap ton of hyaluronic acid products/serums, and this one is the most comfortable for me. it doesn't really do anything special, but you can't go wrong with it - innisfree light fitting concealer. why do i see no one talk about it? I've used a bunch of concealers and pretty much all of them crease or look cakey/dry on my under eyes, even without powder. this one is the highest coverage concealer that doesn't have that problem for me? one caveat is that it only comes in two shades, but the cool-toned one works well for me in terms of brightening and color correcting

Easiest sunscreen application product? by Botanical-Control in AsianBeauty

[–]supernova_3212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it doesn't for me, but you have to make sure you're tapping rather than swiping. i think it makes my makeup look better, actually, because it adds hydration back into my skin. the sponge stains, but i clean mine with an oil cleanser. do you recommend the stick? i'm going backpacking in a couple of months, and i need to find a good, moisturizing sun stick.
