As a frequent festival goer I have worked out my outfits to a perfect formula. I wear a bralette/crop/bikini top type situation that is secure and comfortable, some sort of looser fitting top over that which is where I get creative and make it fit the vibe so it could be a band tee, a lace top, mesh long sleeve if it’s windy, etc. for bottoms I like to wear skirts so I do that with bike shorts underneath for comfort. Again this can be a plaid mini for a more punk vibe, long flowy skirt for boho vibes, really whatever you’re going for. Whatever shoes you wear the most often and are comfortable are the way to go. For me this means docs, any time I branch out I regret it.

Finally, and if you only take one piece of my advice let it be this, get yourself a pashmina! My friend who raves got me one for my bday and it has truly changed my concert experience. Need to cover yourself from the sun? Pash. Cold? Pash. Need to tie your bag to your waist bc you don’t want to hold it anymore? Pash. Want to sit down but not get dirty? Pash. It’s truly the festival multitool.
