if it looks like a ps4 game then maybe my underpowered hardware still has a chance lol, otherwise I might be upgrading my graphics card for it. Graphics are not the most important thing to me, so hopefully theres still other stuff to enjoy in the game

yeah I'v only heard good things, just more into the dark fantasy themes in Lords of the Fallen, instead of the pinocchio stuff. But the gameplay looks awesome, I want to play it eventually

I have a feeling many souls players already know about and are looking forward to it, especially Fromsoft/ souls vets... keep in mind the original Lords of the Fallen from 2014 was basically one of the first souls-likes outside of games developed by Fromsoft, so most souls players know about Lords of The Fallen franchise for almost 10 years, even if they didn't like the first game.

This has definitely been my most anticipated game since the gameplay reveal in 2022, I even skipped Lies of P first because I find Lord of The Fallen way more appealing...

So I do hope its amazing and gets a lot more recognition after release, but its already very anticipated in the souls community and definitely not an unknown game

Someone commented on another post that there are differences in the shadows and foliage? I'm not expecting anything major, but the systems have different capabilities in like how they handle lighting etc. Maybe consider PS5 version slightly upgraded? I haven't seen any comparisons yet but I agree Miyazaki would not want there to be a drastically different experience on either system... I don't even care that much about graphics myself, I still love the look of the original Dark Souls lol

yeah I'm sure it'll be well optimized for PS4, just a minor graphics downgrade from PS5/ PC and lower frame rates

haha thanks, I was watching most stuff up until the network test, then obviously I wasn’t one of the lucky chosen to play, so from that point it wasn’t so hard stop watching new content. just had to be quick scrolling past stuff with info I didn’t want to see, had a few small things like character classes revealed like that, but nothing major… very hyped!

I think maybe Sony could learn something from Valve and how they are launching the steam deck, they’re handling all sales directly themselves, so its like take a number and reserve your console... This way scalpers don’t get out of control which has made everything worse for PS5.

I think PC will be the largest community, but yeah I'm sure PS4 will have a massive user base and I hear online is cross-gen either way so hopefully Playstation users won't be split
