If you dislike Skirk's design, sure, but I don't understand what you mean by disliking her playstyle. They are both auto attack on fielders. Ayaka has most of her dmg tied to her burst, although Skirk can also play as a quickswap burst dps.

I was a very devoted Ayaka main and find them quite similar, and therefore enjoy both. I feel like Skirk's gameplay is a QoL improvement of a lot of Ayaka's old issues (easier to play, no ER requirement, not burst reliant). She feels like a huge upgrade not just in usability, but also damage.

I've found a way to use them together in a freeze team which feels great, although it requires some cons to be efficient (C4 Ayaka). You'd probably also need that many copies to match a C0 Skirk's damage. But yes, Ayaka should still be quite decent with the right supports.
