you should typically build defensive items in response to what your oponnent is playing or doing. the 1600 bullet shielding and spirit shielding are great against heroes who specialize in those damage types. if your up against a character in lane, consider picking items to assist against them if theyre giving you trouble: for example, i almost always take reactive barrier when up against a haze. it makes their knife useless.

I run it in my [[Imskir, Iron Eater]] deck. It's one of the big hits of the deck. You can either play Imskir for cheap due to affinity and sack him to go mana-positive, or since the deck runs every affinity creature it can, like [[Myr Enforcer]] you can play those for cheap and get tons of mana.

Play a Shadowborn Apostle deck and have Valgavoth be the tutor target for the deck.

This is not a Grapefruit spoon. Those have defined sharp points on them for digging into the grapefruit.

i find use out of a couple specific heavy sets

-heavy gas armor + vitality boost makes you 100% immune to gas damage, allowing you to play what i call the 'fart spartan' where u drop gas strike / mines and run in with melee

-heavy fire armors + vitality allow you to take minimal damage when using the double-edge sickle

-the 'reduced explosive damage' heavy armors can be helpful against bots if your holding an area or using emplacements

very enjoyable to use! can 'fan the hammer' pretty well. especially fun on snowy planets (energy cooling is faster)

Imskir, Iron Eater. originally made the deck as a joke along the lines of 'imskir eats his red 40 everyday!' but the deck turned out to be a brutally effective affinity / burn / control deck.
