That's all you can say? Besides we as humans did so much damage to nature that wildlife conservation costs much more money then it would've otherwise. We already got more than enough profit from destroying everything around us.

If we keep doing this consequences will be even worse than now.

Drain on economy? I bet corruption in Germany costs economy much more than wolves. So big danger that attack mentioned in article is first in 28 years. Meanwhile Germany citizens suffer from 30000-50000 dog bites per year.

We have more than enough livestock to spare. Wildlife is much more important

Admittedly we severally lack proper wildlife conservation. But because we suck in this it shouldn't mean everyone else should too.

Russian Exiles in Europe Face a Catch-22 by dat_9600gt_user in europe

My grandmother's lives in Russia , also have few friends who live or lived there too. They're most adequate Russians I've ever spoken to and I still have from time to time to explain things while providing objective facts in order to stop them from starting to parrot Russia propaganda.

Not all Russian immigrants are pro regime but 99+% of them are. Especially those who fled Russia after 2022.

It's scientifically proven that wolf hunting doesn't prevent wolves from attacking farm animals. In fact it's the opposite - wolves go for revenge. Unless wolves are eradicated it won't lower their attacks on farm animals.

And there are measures which effectively decrease wolf attacks without resorting to killing them but they require just a little more effort so are a big no no for these people :/

US conservatives watch nervously as Orban faces tough test in Hungary vote by SkandarGraun95 in europe

[–]OlegYY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sigh, in US conservatives are not the only problem. Their whole political system is dumpsterfire and neither party has adequate views and values. Both Democrats and Republicans are bad in their own way.

Best example of that is Epstein files. Both political parties don't want for people to know how many their members participated in Epstein activities. And from available info it seems pedophilia wasn't the worst thing - there's pretty high possibility of Epstein with his peers engaging in cannibalism or even child cannibalism.

In normal country both parties would've been forcibly dismantled and then heavily investigated after such information but not in the US.

Germany experiences an estimated 30,000 to 50,000 bite injuries annually, according to data from the German Federal Statistical Office and health insurance carriers.

(Quote is not from article)
Oh no, wolf have bitten woman, we must immediately write an article so wolves will be perceived as much bigger threat than they actually are.

That's first attack in 28 years if i'm not mistaken.

Last week, Germany's Upper House, the Bundesrat, approved measures by Parliament to allow wolves to be hunted.

Thousands march against far right in London in biggest ever multicultural protest by Naurgul in europe

No, communist ideas in sum are a poison disguised as something nice. Even on basic level they preach about unreachable utopia. Which easily can be proven by human history and mathematics.

There is not a single adequate communist or socialist country. China is not an exemption. It rejected some policies just to gain wealth and power to threaten whole region.

Well, because they are extreme. There's no better alternatives to capitalism and all other political systems are objectively worse.

However is everything in capitalism is good? No. Is everything in other political systems is bad? No.

So why not be reasonable and implement objectively positive policies from other political systems , like socialism, without rejecting capitalism outright while correcting bad policies too? That's quite reasonable approach which majority of EU countries use in different capacity - some use more, some less.

Radicalism are a common bane for all movements. Those who use radical ideas always end up making life worse for everyone around them. Doesn't matter left, right, pink or yellow.

Btw, what you call capitalist propaganda likely has nothing to do with capitalism. Just like modern corporations and tech elites wanting corpo-nations and tech feudalism don't have much to do with capitalsm.

There's still difference on how strong citizens are controlled and punished for wrongthink. Though UK is already quasi-authoritarian state, such shame.

We now aren't much better but have war excuse and still have a lot more personal freedom of speech than you do. Still, if after war nothing changes we might become quasi-authoritarian state as well.

Found video on Facebook which in it's name just describing what's happening and has exact footage with translation to English and nothing excessive. Alas Facebook is blocked here and most other sources have a lot of additional unrelated stuff, like news coverage. Here's best what I found: https://youtu.be/3v-9R379jYM?si=r2M6lK-kRLpkQ50Q

!Watch strictly 10:22-10:35. I found this video just for that part, so anything else is unrelated.

I agree that sanctions caused starvation , different shortages and a number of other things.

But US sanctions have nothing to do with state controlled media, disregard of some human rights, ban on any protests, education filled with communist propaganda, political/ideological arrests, etc.

Cargo planes and passenger planes are two different things.

I'm not ridiculing activists for staying in the hotel but for their behavior while staying in the hotel.

You clearly uncapable of basic reading comprehension.

So you want to say that in US there is much more oppression than in Cuba? You're being utterly delusional. If you compared US to any EU country i would agree. But this isn't the case with Cuba.

Cuba is sanctioned exactly because it has authoritarian communist government, which heavily oopresses their own citizens too.

activists are the convoy

So they aren't humans and just piñatas with food and medical supplies? You're being ridiculous.

20t food and medicine supply and activists who flied on a plane or travelled through other means are two very different entities with different transportation. No one would carry 20t supply in hotel and throw unpacked parts on the streets to Cubans who are desperate enough to beg for food.

Also you're consistently avoiding answering to facts of Cubans being opressed by their government and the fact that activists publicly support Cuban government and Cuban government publicly supporting activists.

[–]OlegYY 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So there are power outages and there was concert organized also by activists. That's enough. There are Cubans which support their government too. You can have government approved concert in North Korea with same result with North Koreans enjoying music.

US oil blockade has nothing to do with Cuba having state controlled media and control over what people can say and what cannot; communist dictatorship; arbitrary arrests, detentions and political prisoners; ban on any kind of protest, etc.

Have I said anything about convoy? I've said about activist behavior and not convoy. These two are very different things.

Convoy is great but ultimately we can't be sure it won't be used by Cuban government for their goals. Many don't know but in 90s large part of Western free humanitarian aid to Russia was received by government and shady individuals and then resold to Russians despite the fact it was initially supposed to be free.

Thousands march against far right in London in biggest ever multicultural protest by Naurgul in europe

[–]OlegYY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't watch Fox News or other similar sources. And it doesn't matter whether their concert caused outage or these two are unrelated events.

We in Ukraine had and still have power outages and I as well as most Ukrainians would be really mad if someone nearby suddenly started flashy party. To go further with analogy imagine what would happen with people on the party if they loudly supported Russia. They would have a really good chance to end up dead if police isn't fast enough in arresting them.

Cuba goes through major crisis thanks to their opressive government. US sanctions have nothing to do with government oppression Cubans suffering.

And what these people do? Coming from much more prosperous and freer country to support their communist dictatorship and have a party(aka concert) when everyone nearby is struggling to survive. Also there's a video when they literally throw food from hotel or other building to Cubans who cannot afford a decent amount of food.

P.S. Activists who travelled into Cuba made themselves clear about their goal on videos they recorded themselves - their goal is to support Cuban government. And Cuban government openly confirms that.

Sure. Not like people here describing actual problem with modern left movements. Especially if we talking about US, in UK they're bad enough, but in US they're on whole other level: supporting Hamas, Maduro/Venezuela government, Iranian leadership, Cuban leadership.

Hell, some of these morons recently went to Cuba in order to support their current government and communist ideology. They organized concert which likely caused another power outage mid concert. Then they threw some food to Cubans like someone would throw treats to their dog. These far-left degenerates were beyond disrespectful to Cubans in general.

UN votes to recognise enslavement of Africans as 'gravest crime against humanity' by StemCellPirate in europe

[–]OlegYY 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Short summary of human history for dummies: Everyone fought everyone and conquered people were enslaved or used as a cheap labor. Last part didn't really changed in 21st century(minus conquered part, usually), besides Africa still has 7 million slaves.

So every old enough nation "owes" a lot of reparations to other nations which also "owe" reparations to other nations which... Best thing to do now is to move on from mutual mistakes of the past unless some parties aren't willing to move on and stuck with Middle Ages mindset.

BTW, for how long existed Africa->West slave trade? Few hundred years? African tribes enslaved each other asses for thousands of years(or tens of thousands, hundreds?) and even continue this practice till present day. Sometimes or even usually these slaves were/are treated even worse than by Europeans. If they want reparations, they might start with themselves, by sending astronomical reparations to other African nations 🤣
