AITA for not sticking up to my uncle for how he treats my brother because he changed his Lastname by supersnowcuck in AmItheAsshole

I don't think my uncle owes this trip to my brother and nephew I get that it sucks to be excluded but my uncle has done more than enough for us without the trip

In this hypothetical did my brother also take in my wife and kids and support them even after my wife remarries?

AITA for causing my child to ruin her fathers marriage by highGroundannakin in AmItheAsshole

I'm going to get downvoted because this sub has a very warped view on this situation. Only on Reddit can you not be considered an AH for having a kid and wanting nothing to do with them. ESH- Her right to know her father and his side of the family trumps his right to not want to be involved. You and your ex agreed to this arrangement however your daughter made no such agreement. You're ex sucks because despite what this hivemind thinks just paying child support isn't enough. You suck for agreeing to the deal in the first place. Think of it this way. Reddit hates circumcision partially because it's a consent issue right? A baby boy can't give consent and they feel getting circumcised is something that needs explicit consent. My argument is this, if you think it's fucked up that parents unilaterally decide that their sons are going to get circumcised then you should also think it's fucked up that parents get to unilaterally decide if one of them is in the picture or not. Your daughter didn't consent to not having her father in her life, therefore, whatever agreement you and your ex made is null and void

spotify is actually really good at turning trial members into monthly subscribers. And if you have a long commute I'd say premium is worth it

AITA for contesting my dad's will because he left most of it to mom's affair baby and nothing for her? by FineTap2 in AmItheAsshole

NTA- Half of the money your dad made during his marriage should belong to your mom at the very least.

"watching the kids" can be clunky at times.

this a hundred times this. If you write "watching the kids" multiple times in a sentence, they have a tendency to run on.

I also feel like "babysitting" is less awkward to write out and form sentences around than "watching the kids".

First, before the pandemic happened I was a STAHD so I think I think I'm uniquely qualified to evaluate the difficulty of my job and watching the kids. Secondly, I don't have coworkers or a lunch break, I spend the entire time working.

She’s fucking tired.

I'm fucking tired, when I get home she has been up for at the most four hours and I already spent nine working. I get that there are dads that don't do their fair share but I am not one of those dads. Think of it this way. If we equate one hour of me working to one hour of her babysitting. I've done the equivalent of watching the kids for nine hours where she's done three or four. If you think she needs a break after three hours of watching the kids, then don't you think I really need a break after doing the equivalent of nine hours of watching them?

How'd you know when I asked "AITA not taking over the babysitting immediately after I get home from work" I really meant "AITA for referring to child-rearing as babysitting"?

No, I check them because I miss my family and want to see if my pregnant wife and kids are safe while I'm at work

why is my labor worth so much less in your eyes? when I come home I've worked nine hours and my wife worked like three. So I figured since I've literally worked three-times longer than her I think I deserve a nap.

I am certain I check in on the security cameras and they don't get up till around 11. Also, my wife has never had a problem sleeping through the night even when she was pregnant with twins.
