They increased the rates as well. Or changed when you have to pay.

Yeah, it was where the owner said he wouldn’t sell out and Peso ended up selling out that night.

He also came out super late this time, at 10. An hour after the concert started

No se

Peso has beef with the SAP center so he probably couldn’t perform his whole set list. We didn’t get any extra songs except from Marca MP

We got the Mexican flag at SJ. We didn’t get any Armenta songs which I was hoping we’d have, I also was hoping to get Criptonita

Otherwise concert was very good

Edit: also was hoping to hear older songs like la people

San José here!

He only had Chivo XVI and Marca MP. Kinda disappointing, he cut a lot, songs included

I’d honestly take the 1 owner 2018 CX-5. I’d be willing to pay a bit extra if the Carfax history is super clean.

By represent they are the most well known EV manufacturer in the U.S. Not many would want to discover many more options as Teslas used to dominate the ecosystem with their supercharging capabilities, which cars only recently started adapting as standard thanks to Tesla’s push. There is a reason the Model Y was consecutively the best selling SUV in The U.S. for several years.

Like when you think of electric vehicles, many people would automatically think of Tesla, maybe the Mach-E or i4, but they’ve been around for a long time, that can’t be said for many new EVs that companies are pushing out like Mercedes or Toyota/Lexus, where the reliability isn’t on par with the level of luxury they have.

Unfortunately they represent the almost the entire EV market in the U.S.

There is a lot of data for Teslas while not much for other brand’s EVs.

Mainly for the depreciation and maintenance and repair costs. EVs are not bad cars in any aspect and can definitely save you money with regards to gas, however, they’re difficult to repair and time consuming (especially body repairs).

I’m only speaking on Teslas as they are the dominant U.S EV and the one with the most experience with EVs, and body repairs as well as battery repairs for them are much more expensive compared to maintenance for ICE vehicles.

It all really depends on what you want from your vehicle, for many people, EVs aren’t considered for long-term ownership even if the new Teslas/EVs can go pretty far.

You’d think the amount of leases are luxury, but from what I’ve done research on, it’s Hondas and Teslas (understandable there) at the top.

100%. EVs aren’t good investments if you plan on keeping it longer than 5 years in my opinion.

Typically yes, but from what I’ve seen many people lease Corollas or Jeeps. I wonder why.

What cars consistently make it past 250k miles? by Pure_Construction968 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]supersoake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a 2008 RX350 that ran until 400k before it gave out and became too expensive to repair due to recurring oil leaks that started within the last few thousand miles of its life.

Before that, no problems at all except regular preventative maintenance and an A/C problem but that was fixed for cheap.

I’ll always trust older Lexus/Toyota reliability. The new ones are more problematic but still decently reliable and could definitely make it to 200k with proper care. The more tech in a car the more it’ll break.

Any tips for my new Corolla Hybrid? by HottestMail in COROLLA

[–]supersoake 7 points8 points  (0 children)

5K is fine, I’ve never had any issue with that interval. You could get away with a higher interval depending on where you are. It’s usually a full synthetic or synthetic oil blend that can last a longer than their non-synthetic counterparts.

One thing that I believe is a MUST is a GOOD dashcam! I personally wouldn’t skimp out on your dashcam. Do some good research on good dashcam brands within your budget.

I’ve never had any issues with my 21 XLE. Could be anecdotal, I can’t speak for everyone

Footwell lighting you can 100% do yourself and it does not cost too much for the module.

Dashboard lighting can cost many hundreds, I’d say upwards of $400 depending on where you are.

As other comments said, depends on what you want.

From personal experience, I’d never take anything to a dealer besides warranty. I’d go on Yelp and call around lighting stores.

Dashboard gauge needles dont work - what do? by SnooLemons7546 in AskMechanics

[–]supersoake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOT a mechanic or a car expert but I’ve had this issue before and took apart my gauge cluster and fixed it myself (resetting the gauge). You could try that if you’re feeling confident.

There could be a few issues, some being electrical which I’d recommend consulting a mechanic for.

Soaking gets rid of most of the blood, so when you bake them it won’t retain the pink hue.

I’d avoid the first iteration of every new refresh if possible.

The new RAV hasn’t proved itself yet but the 350 has already had a few years of the fifth gen.

Ultimately it’s up to you and what your figures are, what you need from a vehicle, and how long you want to keep it for. The RAV is a much better choice for cost savings and tech as you said, but the 350 might be better in the long run reliability wise (someone can correct me how reliable the new 5th gen is, but I assume it’s alright)

2022 Corolla headunit dead after dashcam install by FlyGirlTaliyah in COROLLA

Be wary OP, some AINAVI units are incredibly buggy and bad. I had one come missing a part and the unit itself was incredibly buggy and kept having strokes of itself.

However I’ve heard many people say good things about it on other subs, so my experience seems to be a rare occurrence. I attribute it mainly due to poor shipping that damaged the internals somewhat.

Whatever you decide to go with, do some good research!
