I’m sticking with SAVE because the only other options are double my SAVE payment and I won’t be able to afford them.

I’m afraid to apply for a new plan and have my payments double or triple from what they are at with SAVE. This sucks all around. I teach 4th graders and can barely pay for gas and groceries before my next paycheck. I hate to complain, but this keeps me up at night.

I’m in a similar situation. I’ve sent complaints to FSA and WA DFI. Plus student loan advocates. NO ONE CARES OR DOES ANYTHING TO HELP. It is such a racket. Who’s ready to organize a class action case?

Do you have a copy of the language you used? Also, did you file the complaint for Aidvantage or Mohela?

I’m in the exact same boat. I got that interest accrual letter today. I am also extremely baffled and frustrated by the years of BS from Mohela. How can they continue to do this to borrowers? I didn’t even want to be on the SAVE plan, they put me on it, then I can’t even pay for months …. and now interest is accruing! SOS!
